I loved this phone. It was the fourth Sony Ericsson that I had and the first smartphone. I never typed faster without errors than on this phone. I'm on my fifth one since the X10 mini pro. Samsung S2, S3, Sony Experia Z3, Samsung Galaxy S8 and now the S10+. When you think of how many phones you had in 19 years, it's crazy. I am on my 13th now, holy shit. 5 Sony's, 4 Samsungs, 3 Nokia's and 1 Bosch (my very first one).

Hey, Probably a silly question but can you put a personal screen lock on the phone instead of the simple finger swipe to unlock the phone?

I have this phone and I installed a launcher app from the Android market and have fallen in love with it all over again. A launcher app modifies the layout and makes the screen more customisable, really recommend trying some out!!!!

plus, can you choose to use the onscrean key board or do you HAVE to use the phisical keyboard?

@goldenguy12345 it depends because the vivaz and the x10 mini are two different operating systems. the x10 mini is on android which has more apps available that the symbian os which is on the vivaz.

How do you listen to music with that phone? I can't see the input entrance for the headset cable!

@ekaostacy because that one is for germany. It's a qwerty one for uk/us etc.

is the screen ok? i mean not pixelated or blurry as the resolution is quite low but since its a small screen is it less noticable?

@buggiala it has a photo camera and a video camera just like any other new phone. And skype? I think you can,although I don't have skype on my phone.

when i download anything it's get in internal so it gives me memory low i could not download any other applications , so please give me some steps or how to do it ... when i open settings an search for manage application or memory there is no options to move to SD card or even open files on phone .. just on PC i really appreciate some help please.... thanks a lot

is there any other good phones with a qwerty keyboard like that? I was going to get this phone, but I find it a wee bit tiny, as for the vivaz, the keyboard buttons dont really stick out, so Im not too sure, is there any other phone anyone could reconmend? And the keyboard doesnt have a up & down key, just a left & right? So Im not too sure, is this phone good?

@SAXOPHONIC10 There's a small indentation by the camera button. push your nail in there and tear the cover off from that direction

My first touch screen phone, could've chosen the first iphone but wasn't ready to move on to full touch screen just yet.. and iPhone seemed a little boring to be honest at first. Glad I got to experience something a little different before it was all touchscreen from there. And I LOVED that keyboard, could type on it with my eyes closed cause i could feel the rounded buttons with that satisfying click feel.

wait why is the y switched with the z on the keyboard!? its supposed to be qwerty not qwertz :P

@Rkooner Some national keyborads use qwertz layout instead of qwerty. The phone is probably a localized version for region where qwertz is used. My Nokia E71 is the same :) qwertz instead of qwerty :)

@Rkooner some countries, like mine are on qwertz standard because we dont use y so much. so they do that on phones also.

@garli11 If you want android 2.2 then the Wildfire. mini pro may never be updated beyond 2.1. I'd suggest you take a look on the SE product blog and make your own mind up.

why is the z key and the y key switched around? is that only in Europe?

@ergospace13 Somemore, i have been told that the only special of vivaz is HD video shooting, and the ringer volume is very low if you place in a bag you must will miss your call. is it? But overall Vivaz really looks nice and cool :D

If I loose my mobile(its the same one shown in the video) and somebody else finds it, can I track my lost mobile? When its being unlocked and whatever the hell is being done, will I be able to track it down?

@Philipxb no u cant get themes for it, thats why i hate it lol messaging, calender and the contacts and things like that are in the blue colour that i couldnt change.

I got one of these last week. I had always been put off smart phones by the size of them, so when I saw this I got one straight away. I loved it from the second I opened the box and I like it even more now! This is my first smart phone, so I can't compare it to others, but I am suprised by what it can do and how well it does everything. If I connect using wifi I get 6mb download speeds and 450mb upload! Qwerty keyboard is great, Android is great. Nothing bad to say about the little fella so far!

@Brooaz you cant change the theme, it may seme little at first but it gets irritating and mine is impossible to call with they cant hear me but I can hear them its incredible slow working and I had a lot of shit with copying my numbers into my SIMcard I still can't copy them sometimes it refuses to turn on and off sometimes it refuses to go into my text messages I have tried to send it to reperation but they say nothing is wrong with it and is prob my sig. fun others have no prob with sig:P lol

I know there are mixed comments on battery life i.e. Some say a few hours, others report a good few days, but I think it is down to what they do with it. For example, if you keep getting emails, turn on Bluetooth and wifi and amp the brightness so it's like 4th July, you aren't doing the phone any justice. However, if you turn these off, or for brightness, turn it down, you can easily get those few days, even using flight mode can help too

@emirmisic yep yep.. i use twitter a lot too.. but if u use facebook,,, it already has the application for it,,, and u can update ur status whenever and wherever u are... it's worth to have it,,, my only question for some owners for it,, if the battery does go that quick... or maybe it depends on the user..... i dont know if that's normal for the phone or not... but other than that,, its good to get it.. :)
