Do you want over ear headphones? Get the WH-1000XM4. Otherwise get the WF-1000XM4.

@@revo-tech9389 Over ear has cups that cover your ears. On ear means the cups are smaller and will sit on your ears. WF-1000XM4 are in-ear earbuds so they're small and go in your ear canal.

@@Pandaminimum the 85t responds very well to EQs, so you just need to equalize them. If you are on Android it is even easier with Wawlet.

I totally agree! I'm so fed up with every UKpostsr doing a review on earbuds using the apple airpods to as a benchmark device as if the pods pro are the best the standard to beat. I own these sonys it also own the Senheisser momentum 2 the jabra 85t the galaxy buds pro and plus. The Amazon echo earbuds. And all of these sound better than the airpods pro. So I'm with you on this. I wish they'd stop comparing to airpods pro all the time.

@@richardcowan4720 EXACTLY! Apple Fan boys are foolish!!They need to be OBJECTIVE...but they NEVER are. I have the AirPods Pro's and they sit in my drawer. My Galaxy Buds Pro's are better and the Sony XM-4"s BLOWS them away. It's hard to beat Sony. UKpostss talk about Bose and the Bowers and Wilkins PI-7 But the Bowers and Wilkins are almost 200.00 more and from what I have read the Bluetooth/WIFI on them is terrible...and the ANC is NOT as good as the Sony XM-4's(for 400.00...I don't think so)...The Bose may have a tiny bit better ANC...but the music sound quality is NO comparison to Sony or the galaxy Buds pro's. Bose is great for ANC...but that's it. That includes their Headphones. Bose sound quality is NOT good. Sony is still the one's to beat....in both the earbuds and headphones.

@@richardcowan4720 Hey Richard, you said you own a lot of earbuds. I recently got the Sennheiser MTW2 and I really love the the sound. The only problem with these is that the left one hurts my ear outside. I can't use them more than 20min. Do you know if the sonys will do as well? Cause I think the passform is like the same size as the Sennheiser. Next point is, that I wanna know if the bass is comparable to the Sennheiser?

@@PL-ht3xw bass is better on the sonys. Plus the EQ on the sonys is superb! So you can play around with it to get the sound to your liking. Sony are using a new type of eartips that's a bit like memory foam that will mold to your ear. At first I didn't like it bit it does get better. Plus if you squeeze the tips before putting then into your ear helps. Overall with a great EQ and LDAC codec the sonys are the better sounding. Well to my ears. Everyone will have a different preference. But of I had to chose I'd pick the sonys.

I think you know how the APP and instruction of the Sennheiser showed how you should put them in your ear. You twist them a little bit backwards to perfectly fit them into your ear. At this point of twisting, my ear starts hurting. Just at the left one. Is it the same way with the sonys? Do they need to be fixed the same way?

I know AirPods absolutely smash Sonys over ear wh 1000 in every conceivable way with the exception of weight but I don’t mind the extra weight of my max’s one bit I had both wh and wf xm3’s I know I’ll never doubt Apple again it’s ok I used to be a android fan boy to follow me and join the dark side

Don't use them then! You're under no obligation to have them. And they're pretty new Ans will still be under the return date so take them back and go get yourself a pair of airpods!!!!!!! Oh and stop whining.

You are right. It’s crap cos I bought them and still feel xm3 sound and anc is better there than here. This sucks. Read reddit where real people give real feedback on its performance instead of paid reviews.

better yet stop listening to people buy the product and make your own decisions based on your standards. Because the majority of people out there have very low standards and or they are getting paid to have them low. Stop relying on convenience so much, and find out about it on your own, instead of these idiots that would say anything for a buck like a junkie whore, heck even whore has more principals and dignity than these people.
