This music is not about other people in the world around us but about connecting with our souls and remembering why we have chosen to come here. It can make you sad as there is a sense of being alone, but also a sense of comfort and a feeling of healing and belonging. It makes you feel love for all living things. But a knowingness that our time on earth will come to an end one day, there is a strong feeling of people we know who have already left us waiting to see us again a sense of the pain of life disappearing and being reconnect back to where we go as souls somewhere much more beautiful with inner peace. Epic. Simply close your eyes and see a pine forest from roughly 1000 years ago. Think about a day when the sun is shining and a gentle, warm breeze is blowing. There are birds singing, and you can hear a river nearby. No issues, no anxieties, and no regrets. It certainly feels epic.

When the flute came in at first... it gave me the feeling of longing for something unreachable... something deeply missed, unrecoverable. Here's what came to mind: You've been down all your life. Nobody loves you; and you long for love. As you think about it, you think of all the people you've been nasty to and whom you've driven away. You wish you could take it all back- but you can't. What's done is done. You begin to feel a distant hope as you stroll through the lonely forest, listening to the birds. You then hear a voice in the distance singing a beautiful song. Their voice beckons to you. You walk towards it... but it's going away from you. You begin running. The voice becomes louder... and louder. You begin to feel a strong sense of hope that you'll finally find somebody who loves you... or something to find comfort in. The voice suddenly stops... and you see its source. A beautiful bird looks up at you, interested. You crouch down to see the bird, your hopes of meeting another human shattered. The bird begins singing again... in the same beautiful voice. He gives you the hope you've been looking for... and the strength to get through the hard parts of life. You stand up and begin to walk away. The bird... follows you. You have finally found a friend in life. While still wishing for a human friend, you are finally happy... because you have a companion to give you strength and to help you realize... you're not a loser. You're just different. The people who shunned you because they didn't like how you looked or whatever don't deserve a second thought. And you finally know what it's like to be liked. As you walk down the pathway you've found... you meet other people. Your life turns out ok. But nobody has the same impact on you as that bird... the first living being to become your friend.

Bless you for posting this. My Mom has dementia and nightly seems to become agitated. I tried so many things to help calm her and this is working, at least for today. It has such a calming effect and I thank you from my heart as you have helped make this night better then the one before.

Just cannot stop the cruel disease of dementia. Every day is precious and I lost my mum to this. It is ok to feel scared and angry. We all need someone who we will never meet and have no ties to, to talk or just listen or to read some small comment to show someone across the void actually cares. It does cast out fear Our young people are begging for it. listen to the children. Magnifique, apaisant. Je ne me lasse pas d'écouter vos musiques et celle-ci plus particulièrement. Je l'ai faite écouter à mon petit fils âgé de 7 mois. Cela l'apaise et l'aide à s'endormir tout doucement. En journée, comme le soir, elle s'écoute avec un grand bonheur. Continuez de créer ce type de musiques relaxantes et qui touchent notre âme.
