It's a pity you cannot appreciate her movies in Italian or better in almost napoletano were she gave her best. And she really improve herself. Years ago, many in facts, she didn't spoke correct Italian but she studied. I think she studied all her life and she learned Italian :o) French and English quite well, besides acting. And she never denied her origins what, I think, makes her really great, not being ashamed of it, what in the end is certainly not her fault but what many famous people would try to hide. So, besides the fame, she remained down-to earth. So she is a true person and a great one with feelings and meanings.

I once turned on the TV one idle afternoon. It was a foreign movie. An Italian movie from the 1950s. In Italian. I watched for a while these totally unfamiliar faces performing a story I could not follow. But I kept watching because the girl in the movie was absolutely electrifying - even though I couldn't follow a word she said. She was speaking Italian - fast!! Even without understanding what was going on her charisma was astonishing. That actress was Sophia Loren. Don't forget - Italian actress + Hollywood megastar. Not many who are both!! Brava Sophia!!

In my youth I used to watch her movies with Marcello Mastroianni, some of them simply hysterical, they worked together in so many movies and acted so well together that I thought they were married to each other. She was simply gorgeous and I adored her. I had never heard of any woman loving a men the way she loved Carlo Ponti; it was pure love. Excellent actress and a loving and dedicated mother; she had such a hard time having her babies so she really enjoyed motherhood to the maximum.

I'm going to bathe and drink olive oil like Sophia does!! A doctor talks about food and it is mentioned as the reason Sophia looks so great. Food is a way to get olive oil in us. She eats 12 teaspoons a day and bathes in it and us her moisturizer and body lotion...here we go! But easy does it. I don't believe everything I hear since I did intermittent fasting, nearly starving myself to death and in ER. I'm still recovering from that!
