South Korean-Made ATACMS-Like CTM-290 Bolsters Poland Forces | 300KM Range Missile Threat To Russia?

День томуThe first glimpse of South Korea’s CTM-290 ballistic missile, intended for Poland, was recently revealed. A new video doing rounds on social media showed Poland’s new long-range ballistic missile in action for the first time.
The CTM-290 missile offers broadly similar capabilities to the US-made MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS). It’s launched from the Homar-K multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) based on a Polish-built truck chassis.
This test-firing reportedly took place on April 24 at a range belonging to South Korea’s Agency for Defence Development (ADD) near Seoul.

They are, but air force is very expensive and as a country on the potential front a big land force is crucial, countries deeper in Europe have decent air forces to back Poland up but almost all lack capeable land forces

The Soviet union USSR CCCP gave up occupying these countries at the end of the eighties. The wall was removed in Berlin by the Soviets. The USA never did. They are still occupying these countries including Japan since WW2.

By the end of this decade Poland will have the strongest army in Europe. After what happened to them in WW2 they are determined to be able to defeat Russia on their own even without help from their NATO allies.

the Poles can keep dreaming like the rest of the contorted European anti-Rus mindset. have they would have kept Borris Johnson out of the affairs during the last possible treaty the Uke's and Russians could've ended the entire thing. after all Poland has been fear mongering their own people about a so called invasion (knowing it's never even going to happen). That was 2nd time around that Poland have request for a long range missile Army Tactical Missile System or ATACMS to the US . 1st when Poland request for a Main Battle Tank or MBT to the US M1A1 Abram tank and because they have supply numbers of Soviet era tanks the T72 tanks to Ukraine abd then decided to buy South Korea or SOKOR tank the K9 tank and when Poland already have K9 tank abdthen US finally decided to supply Poland US M1A2xtank

From Korea's perspective, the compatibility with Russia was so good that it was a win-win, mutually beneficial relationship. However, I feel that Russia's choice of war is regrettable. And due to ideological logic, they were classified as unfriendly countries. I hope that we will stop wars against each other and stop innocent sacrifices as soon as possible.

Polska sprowadziła Koreę, aby położyła podwaliny pod rozmieszczenie broni nuklearnej. Moja głowa pracuje dobrze. Gdyby bezsilna Polska chciała rozmieścić broń nuklearną, NATO oczywiście by na to nie pozwoliło. Oczywiście, jeśli skorzystamy z okazji, aby zwiększyć nasze zdolności obronne, a nawet rozmieścić broń nuklearną, w Polsce zapanuje pokój. Po zakończeniu rozmieszczania broni nuklearnej przepływ wojny skieruje się teraz na wschód, w kierunku Chin. Innymi słowy, energia wojny skupi się na Chinach, Rosji i Pacyfiku. Gdybym był Koreą, słuszne byłoby zapewnienie bezpośredniego wsparcia Ukrainie. Korea nie jest w stanie zapewnić wsparcia ze względu na naciski ze strony Rosji i Chin. Ostatecznie myślę, że są dwa powody naszego partnerstwa z Polską. Jeśli wybuchnie wojna na wschodzie, Polska ją poprze, a jeśli wybuchnie wojna na zachodzie, Korea ją poprze. Nie wydaje się to zbyt prawdopodobne, ale jeśli nie, to oczywiście chodzi o pieniądze. Cóż, w rezultacie oba kraje są podobne, ponieważ mają ogromnych sąsiadów, Rosję i Chiny. Myślę, że obydwa kraje będą miały trudności bez broni nuklearnej.
