It looks worse than the old one. The new one just looks like a bigger audi a4, which is sad to see, that like Mercedes, audi is just making their executive sedans bigger versions of their cheaper cars, instead of making the smaller cars cheaper versions of their executive class.

As BMW fan, i got to admit.. Audi Q8 is actually the best in its class even from the previous gen. More comfortable and tech-loaded than than S class. But still seriously under-rated being the underdog. And unlike the S class it isn't ugly from the exterior

My A8L was incredible, especially with my V8 60TFSI variant. I did decide to trade for the Porsche Panamera though, and something to consider based upon your needs. For me, I wanted sport over cloud luxury. The Audi’s dual-pane isolation, suspension, and massage seats made for an epic road trip car. I imagine this in S8 variant will be perfect. Don’t go V6 on such a beast. If you’re younger, and can afford mid 100’s, do check out the Porsche’s. The handling and enjoyment factor is huge.

I would instead get an A8 as a PHEV for daily use. And a 911 turbo with manual transmission for weekend and track days. Best of both worlds. No need to have everything in one car.
