@@jnorman5134 That has to be one of the most insane things to ever happen in speedrunning, to get two such good worlds back to back. I once watched another very, very good speedrunner do 24 hours of no resets in 1.16.1 and not one of the 41 worlds he completed was even sub 20. (Though a small number of them could have been if he hadn't been using safe strats for the purpose of the challenge.)

Considering sub 15 runs are a thing, might even be able to do 4 in 1 if he's the luckiest man alive.

@@Skeletone56 nobody plays undertale for the gameplay, it's all about plot, lore, music, atmosphere and morality. But the gameplay isn't bad anyway, which is why it's my favourite game of all time

Aren't piglin brutes already always angry? I think you don't need gold to aggro them, just existing in their line of sight enrages them.

This doesn't work in 1.17. Piglins don't aggro to block breaking unless they can see you do it, and then they lose aggro again really easily too. So the 1.16 bastion routes just plain fail, brutes or no brutes. This is one reason why 1.17 bastions are so slow. You just don't get 10 piglins trading at once in one spot like you can in 1.16.

@@BlueCyann Normal piglins can still detect gold/chest breaking through walls in 1.17; while brutes only aggro upon line of sight. The main problem with 1.17 bastions, aside from inconsistent pearl trades, is that brutes significantly reduce the total number of piglins in any trading spot (example: Treasure has 3-6 brutes in the 2 chest rooms) and they are painfully slow to kill, not to mention how lava can burn the other piglins.

@@mangoshi1251 wdym "will not aggro them" they are always on aggro, a fully hostile mob while normal piglins are passive. Why would a zombie stop attacking you because you are in a chest? Why would a creeper not explode while you're mining something? Why would a skeleton stop shooting just because you said "time out"? Hostile mobs don't do that.
