As a Brit, I have to say that at first glance, Stewart’s portrayal of Princess Diana looks exceptional. It‘s not just the styling and hair and makeup, it’s the haunted and bashful eyes, the voice and the physicality. This is something else, it’s like she inhabited her. No doubt she’ll win awards for this. Can’t wait to see it.

amen to all of this 💖 i personally like her in twilight though. i felt like she captured teen angst, social awkwardness & “coming of age” almost TOO realistically if anything & that it was a perfect juxtaposition to the whole vampire thing that she was just so realistic. bella was constantly introspecting throughout the book series too and had very little dialogue for a main character which i feel would’ve made it an extremely difficult role. i absolutely love everything she does as an actress.

She had mental problems, struggled with an eating disorder, was pressured by the media, her husband's family, but to call her batshit crazy is just ignorant, rude and just plain wrong. She can't even defend herself now that she's dead. I'm tempted to brand you as crazy and cruel for saying that. Whatever new tabloid gossip you read about her, I implore you to ignore it. She was innocent, and was hounded by the press, the public and her in-laws, till the day she died. Please, no more.

@@yidan8749 The only survivor of that crash was wearing a seat belt. What I wrote was an objective observation. And yes, I lost someone who died in a car crash. He shouldn't have gotten behind the wheel after drinking, and he wasn't wearing a seat belt. That's not being rude. It's being objective and honest.
@yidan87492 роки тому
@@annademo I understand, but you could have phrased it better. And there's no need to be callous. There's a very thin line separating objective and callous. If it were me, I'd say " I wished she'd worn a seatbelt. She might have had a better chance of surviving the car crash then." And it wasn't entirely her fault. The paparrazzi were chasing the car, preventing it from leaving, and therefore complicit in the car crash. It's common sense to get away from a moving car. It's no wonder that an accident happened. I just felt you were being unnecessarily callous towards someone who made a careless choice, yes, but wasn't a bad person. And I might be a little sensitive, yes, but it's because I knew someone who died in and accident, and I could never say that about him.

I'm just glad that the comment section is praising her so much. She indeed is a good actress. Everyone just likes to mock her based on twilight as it is world wide famous and a whole damn series that basically defined her career. Maybe watch her other stuffs and see for yourself haters🦉 and i dont see why people think she doesn't look like her. Maybe I'm not so good with faces. To me she doesn't look like her in actual life but here, because of the makeup and facial structure and everything she looks so much alike. Anything about diana straight up give me goosebumps. So excited for this.

I like KS, and I actually screamed at a screen when I saw her name because I didn't even recognize her)) and it's due to her literally morphing for this role, not only with makeup. As been born in 90s, I can't wait to finally meet with Lady Di and her story on a big screen!

You may not want be hateful, or seem hateful, but you putting yourself in opposition anyway - just with smaller degree, down the same direction. UKposts basically says (and I agree) that keeping your 'water' inside your mouth shut - is better both for your 'water-based power station' and for someone's ludicrous (as it may seem to you) 'solar panels', or 'wind turbine' project as well. I.e., everyone and their co-thinkers just better mind _their_ businesses, than interfere. And the best part about all that jazz - is that co-thinkers actually never criticise each other, because they fuel their power plants with same water.

Knowing my opinion is that of a minority, these films and shows makes me feel so sad for her sons. Having words put in their own and their beloved mothers mouths for easy consumption and quick judgment by random strangers all over the world. Regardless of it being factual or false it is no different, their beautiful memories getting exploited and tainted. Not to mention they must have some sort of PTSD from the tragedy, having them face criticism when they are close to Diana’s age seems so brutal. As someone who’s experienced loss although I respect Kristen as an actress it just doesn’t sit right with me.

For those of you complaining she doesn't look like her enough that isn't the point. Its capturing her essence that makes it good acting. Getting the voice down, the body movements, etc. Michelle Williams didn't look like Marilyn, Phillip Seymour Hoffman didn't look like Capote, but they both captured their subjects brilliantly. From what I've seen so far, and if she gets the famous coy look down, Kristen will come out with a winner.

The films in their defence were quite popular and still are. The movies all premiered in the top 10 on Netflix a month ago. Actors act so I think their future projects were going to determine their career longevity. They both went the indie film route which made them popular with critics which was a smart decision to build their acting impressions in the industry.
