Diana was sweet natured and she had goals and dreams, she wasnt suited for the harsh and strict Royal life. The Royals would have killed her either way. You should watch Underwater. I don’t know if you’re a horror fan, but her performance in that film is incredible too. The stuff she’s putting out recently has been high performance it seems.

amen to all of this 💖 i personally like her in twilight though. i felt like she captured teen angst, social awkwardness & “coming of age” almost TOO realistically if anything & that it was a perfect juxtaposition to the whole vampire thing that she was just so realistic. bella was constantly introspecting throughout the book series too and had very little dialogue for a main character which i feel would’ve made it an extremely difficult role. i absolutely love everything she does as an actress.

News flash, this movie was awful. She destroyed the image of the real princess of wales. In the end, she didn’t win. She lost to a better actress. And she hasn’t done a movie since.

I think the story will be told from Diana's perspective. (The movie is called 'Spencer', not 'The Royals' or 'Diana And Charles'). Also, the teaser poster I've just seen features a shot of Kristen in a white ball gown, with her back to the camera. There's no-one else in the movie in it.

I don't care how talented you are, there is not much anyone can do with a deliberately boring character that has little to no personality other than her vampire boyfriend.

Well I have read the books... She was nothing like Bella in the books... Everybody else did justice to their character, but she didn't . So yes she is a bad actor.

the director said the following about the movie: "We aren’t trying to explain who she was or answer questions on the larger scale of her life. We’re fictionalizing most of it based on what we think could have happened." So what she embodies and portrays in this movie is... well, pure fiction. I can't find the direct quote on a whim, but if I remember correctly, Diana wasn't even at Sandringham that year.

She was the blandest of plain janes which is why no one could understand why Edward picked her. People are tired of her only playing the same role in most of her movies. No one will hate her if she shows people a good performance. Movie fans just don't like actors who can't act.

Diana was anything but a fragile rose. She was a smart woman who knew how to manipulate people to her best advantage. She thrived on the media attention and would have withered without it. If she'd worn the damn seat belt, she'd probably still be alive.

kristen played bella's character exactly as it was in the books, the lack of inner monologue in the movie made it terrible cause we couldn't see what Bella was feeling

also keep in mind that they were pretty young and dealing with some rough material. those movies weren’t exactly stellar vehicles for them to make their leap into more “grown-up” acting roles.

If you are talking about Rob and Kristen, then I agree about Kristen. However Rob is not there yet. He still struggles and his acting is cringey at times.

The films in their defence were quite popular and still are. The movies all premiered in the top 10 on Netflix a month ago. Actors act so I think their future projects were going to determine their career longevity. They both went the indie film route which made them popular with critics which was a smart decision to build their acting impressions in the industry.
