What do you think of Spencer Rattler and his chances in the NFL?

Apparently that “school code violation” his senior year in HS was hotboxing a car with his homies lol which in my opinion is nothing.

Oh boy, I knew this video was coming. I just thank him for his time at SC and helping our program achieve some fun stuff in 2022. Wish him the best and think he’s got a future in the NFL, but not sure what it’ll be. He’s got the raw talent, and drive. *EDIT* Super happy to see him get drafted by the Saints and I hope he has a fruitful career in the NFL!

Spencer Rattler’s future in the NFL is dependent on where he goes in the draft. If he can go somewhere that will let him learn for 1-2 years under a talented veteran, then he’ll do pretty well. I think teams like the Jets, the Seahawks and potentially the Raiders would be the best spots for him.

I don’t think any of the top 5 or 6 QB draft prospects, including Spencer, are really that different as far as their chances at being stars in the NFL. They all have major weaknesses.

I've watched the up and down and up of his college career! I see unlimited potential but the question is will he allow himself to reach it! The main reason he is not the number 1 draft pick right now is him! I believe he got too big for himself, settled down but just hasnt put in elite level work to be the best! Ive never seen a more natural release of the ball out of his hand! He was obviously born to throw a football, the only thing holding him back is him! I hope he figures it out because he could be great if he finds complete humility and puts in elite work!!

He works as a 3rd or 4th round pick. He very well could be a starter QB but more like STACHE aka Minshew, solid backup fill in starter. Id rather draft him over Pratt just bc I feel he has a better chance of being a starting QB

I love Spencer. I drafted him in Madden one year, and wanted to learn who he was. From this video I learned about his SC career and not much else. I feel bad for him that his own team’s fans wanted someone else to take over for him during the game itself. I hope he ends up being a great NFL Quarterback.

I’m a South Carolina fan and I want to say this I don’t think he was really up and down for us. He was a delight to watch as a fan. Compared to the last guy as they come through before him he was such a breath of fresh air. 😂 overall really good quarterback for us. He helped us beat Clemson, which that was really impressive

I think he's a perfect QB to DEVELOP in the league, I don't think he should be put into a starting position - doubtful that he would be anyways but he has potential imo and I do think he's good enough to play in the league he just needs time and care like Mahomes had at Kansas City. He also just has an insanely good QB class to compete with in this draft but their have been a lot of past drafts where the best QBs taken early just suck and then the random no names in the later part of the draft really perform in the league. So It's hard to say. Drafting a QB is a very hard thing to do.

I normally don’t disagree but I got to on this one, Rattler is the guy. He’s definitely has the skills to make it as top backup QB. The only thing that will hold him back is whatever team draft him, having good coaching staff.

Typical story of a young man who reaches puberty 2-3 years before everyone else, a man playing among boys. These types almost always are not hard workers, since they are just more physically gifted for their age that they don't have to work hard. Everyone eventually catches up to them physically, and their success begins to plateau.
