Navy Bae Spike Lee has a way with film... I remember as a child going to see Jungle Fever and at the end everyone sat in silence just digesting what they had seen. When he wants to make an impact with a film, he does it and does it well.

He is very capable of making a film about serious topics as cemented in his "Malcolm X' film, a true masterpiece. But this film....eh..agh. I will not watch a second time. It wont be in my collection It was agonizingly disappointing. I really hate to down a brutha's work. The real problem is that we have been so overwhelmed by mediocracy that a film like this can look like its a great piece of work by comparision. And that would be true by today's substandards.
