I love their honesty, everytime we see something that could look like a ghost they tell us the truth when they could just go: yeah omg it was a ghost we did it! ! I love you so much my ghoul boys, can't wait for the next episode! Edit: I never get so many likes. Thank you everyone!!

Yeah, they are both honest. Ryan legit believes in ghosts and Shane legit doesn't. Ryan has even explained the actual science behind some of their ghost hunting devices. For example Ryan used science to explain how the mag flashlight turning on/off on its own works. Many other ghost hunters wouldn't do that.
