Not much to appreciate tho, that was intentional to check which lighting can affect the ensemble. The perfomances must be as true to the live one as possible. But yea the stand in for Fuego wouldnt be wearing the swarowski suit😂

It is unique mostly in the pop / modern music. The white voice per se is not that unique, it is often used in folk music in Central and Eastern Europe. Another good example of combining white voice with modern sounds it actually Tulia, Polish contestants from 2019. Their music is different, a bit rockier / heavier. And there's not as much folk influences there. But the voice technique is totally there.

When Kateryna was ill and had to quarantine while awaiting results from the test Emmie stud in during one of the rehearsals because she was the only one who knew the song. It's wonderful.

*2 months (they were lucky she could get out of work during the 2nd rehearsals or otherwise someone else would have had to learn this in 2 hours, which was deemed impossible) These stand-ins (conservatory students) all had to learn 3 different acts in 2 months (from march to may), the choreography was also learned in those 2 months.

And the flute player has a plastic alto recorder instead of the Ukrainian Sopilka lol
