when it comes to my personal opinion id defo keep Antony, when hes on the field he puts in all the effort he could and you could clearly see he plays for the badge and doesnt give up easily. he just needs to be understood and he deserves more minutes in order to get into the dynamics of the team while performing against other teams since that got a bigger impact than just training. he causes such a huge threat against the defence of other teams and always finds a gap through. look how Onana started bad then proved himself after having given the chance, id bet that Antony would prove alot of yous wrong aswell.

Good choices. Onana is the best. United needs defender midfielder. Kobbie Mannoie can be good in offensive midfield. Improve their tactics.

Bruno said indirectly in one match that the reason United do not control matches is the lack of ball retaining ability of forward players. I think he looks for shortcuts when he feels that his team isnt gonna or isnt able to dominate ball. The game against Sheffield,he didnt gave any rash passes,he was t looking for goalscoring oppertunity all the time whereas the game against Burnley,as soon as United started getting tired and started stray passes,he started looking for his hollywood passes. He isnt the one that defines how the team plays,so a good defensive midfielder is very inportant for United who can control matches like Rodri does. Also,the backline is the main problem i feel united has,they dont squeeze the field enough. People say that there are gaps in the midfield,it is because the defense doesnt keep a high line. Even for corners,the defense should be able to organise the defensive line,they simply cant. They start a high line only to retract back before the ball even has been kicked. It shows the lack of leadership and intellectual ability that the defense has. Also,the coaching team is to be blamed. United keep two players in the corners of the goal post for corners. These players are accessory goalkeepers for the team. I dont know why it is being done. I dont think its useful for much of the game. These players would prevent any offiside from happening incase the ball gets circulated. Also,the counterattacking threat and the ability to win second balls in highly reduced. Dalot is being placed there,i dont know why they place him there. He jumps very well for headers,there are pkayers who arent good at headers,ypu can place there but they place dalot. I dont understand a lot of concepts aboyt the coaching. Either its coaching staff who arent good,might be the one reason and also players,who arent intellectual enough to dominate games. We need a good coaching staff as well as good players. But i would give Tenhag a season more to prove his worth. He had a bad season,hasnt had players due to injury. Last season wasnt great either,but we went through. He has a winning mentality which many coaches dont. He prefers winning and thats important for big clubs. I dont think there are better managers currently. Tuchel is available,but i think he can be little frustrating at times. I wiuld stand by ten hag atleast for a season more and see how it goes.

What everyone seems to keep missing is whether or not the players suit the desired playing style. You cant keep criticizing the manager for not having a style of play when he’s got a patchwork of players across 4-5 different managers. Keeping Maguire is not the way to go. Same with McTominay. I agree that they've both improved their performances this season and have been positively instrumental in what has gone right so far, but mate, this is the best time to sell him when his stocks are high and like with Wan Bissaka, your backup has to be similar in style if not in quality or experience. Whoever is purchased as first choice CB this summer will probably be young, quick and able to comfortably play in a high line and for all of his strengths, Maguire would represent a drop off anytime you had to use your bench. one of the contributing factors to all the space in United's midfield, apart from the manager's poor setup is the fact that while the forwards and Bruno try to press high, the back line tends to end up sitting deep to compensate for a lack of pace. None of the top teams have this issue.

I love Bruno!!! Without shadow of doubt!!! But I worry it’s his position that unbalances the midfield unless you bring him into double pivot with Kobbie or as a 3 man midfield. But not as 4-2-3-1 but 4-3-3 him and Kobbie either side of a proper midfield 6

I think the issue with this list is wether it’s Stay or Go for next season or beyond. Look at the center back situation. If it’s just the future the only two centre backs who should be staying is Martinez and Kambwala. If it’s next season though, you can’t get rid of Varane, Maguire, Lindelof and Evans without having serious squad depth issues.

So you don’t want to keep Varane or Luke shaw because they’re injury riddled but will keep Martinez who’s played a fraction of what Varane has this season. I want all to stay, but you can’t contradict yourself for different players

Realistically speaking the selling of the players mentioned should occur by the middle of July so that the manager can work with players that he wants. The same goes for incomings as getting 75% of players you want by then is key. Unfortunately, United haven't acted decisively in the market for nearly two decades. Remember that the likes of Berrarda and Wilcox dont start working until the week of July. Brailsford signed players like Barkley Ramsey Pépé and Schmeichel at Nice. Lastly, keep in mind the homegrown quota and that no matter who they sign or sell, they will never be able to satisfy every single fan or UKpostsr .

I'd keep Lindelof over Maguire because he's much more versatile, can play across the back four so is more useful for the squad and bench. Anyway, once we're done sorting the keeps and outs, it's time to evaluate the keeps and decide if they'll get into the current Big 4 of England. And the honest answer is none bar Bruno. Which makes United's current midtable placing unsurprising actually.

lol why was Hojlund such an easy keep? I disagree. Hojlund does a great job of getting stains on the jersey to look busy but at some point you’ve got to have the skill set to lead a controlled attack. Strikers need scrappy goals but you need more to be a great United starting striker. All Roy Keane said about haaland’s gameplay applies to Rasmus, except for the ability to enough goals.
