As a Ohio State fan I did not expect us to even keep this game close. Respect to Georgia as I said before the game they are a complete team in every facet and we're gonna have to play at our very best to win and we didn't. That being said, right now Georgia doesn't look quite like the dominant force they were last season with all due respect, but I do think Georgia is ready for TCU. National Championship should be a good game that's for sure! Big 12 vs. SEC for the first time since the 2009 National Championship between SEC Champion Alabama and Big 12 Champion Texas.

People acting like UGA didn’t play well. Our defense played below our standard. But our offense just got into a shoot out with OSU and won. That’s impressive no matter what team you are. Stetson played an amazing game and had more passing yards then CJ. I’m Proud of these dawgs.

What a humble dude, he's still trying to believe that they've actually won. Great game! Looks like Michigan was a huge let down again, they looked so promising too, but TCU took advantage of their mistakes and this should be an exciting and memorable national championship game. Something tells me that TCU will pull off the upset tho, they lost at the perfect time to Kansas State as they were still able to get into the playoffs, but look forward to the game regardless

Championship level coaches say exactly what coach Smart said - they always see through the win and examine the flaws and what needs improvement. Never satisfied. I'm an FSU fan, but I can understand why Georgia has become the program that they have. Great game by the Dawgs and Buckeyes - both programs should hold their heads high.

Dawg here. Props to OSU. That was not our game. We have been there. Losing games that we dominated 95% and blew it at the end. I accept the win because we have not lost a regular season game. We never faltered like OSU did at home. So, a win for a season hard fought. But we must beat breaks of TCU. Period.

Kirby is trying to become the 2nd HC to win Back to Back NC is recent history. He was on the staff of the last team/HC to do it, Nick Saban and Alabama. It's true for the CFP Era only.

What a game! Georgia seemed like they needed to humble themselves going into halftime. Kinda looked like since they were basically playing in their home stadium and have been dominating every team NOT named Alabama, they just expected to win. But Ohio State put serious pressure on them. I believe they were able to comeback and win this game based on how they won their 2022 national championship game: by having to comeback late. Congrats to the Dawgs, and I hope the championship game could be a fraction of what these two semifinal games were this year.

I usually agree with Kirby, but 398 passing, 3 TDs, and the composure and clutch performance in the 4th... i wasnt a huge Bennett fan before tonight, but Im pulling for this kid. how about the defense play better? how about the coaches prepare the defense, especially the secondary? I played SS and CB and I know when I got romped. The secondary got romped, and they didn't blitz enough to get pressure on a talented pocket passer. Poor defensive game plan. Lucky they have a solid QB that saved these high dollar coaches face for another week and has all but locked up another Championship for their huge salaries. Guarantee he comes out after the win next week and says he knew he had it in him and wanted to show tough love and give him something to prove. That or these two aren't seeing eye to eye. Just say thanks, good job... you're making me look good and making me a ton of money..

I'm an Alabama fan but I love dem Georgia dawgs, because Coach Smart is a great coach and reminds me of Bear Bryant. Like Bryant's, his teams are fundamentally sound and play hard every play. Whenever Bryant's teams won a game, he was always complimentary to the losing team and would go on about how well Bama's opponent played, what a fine coach and staff they had and how Alabama was really lucky to have won, no matter their winning margin. This, my friends, is called class. Not like Ryan Day, an obvious sore loser and an excuse maker who allows OSU to run in a touchdown at the goal line and run up the score on a team (Nebraska) in the waning seconds of a game in which he has a three touchdown lead, instead of kneeling at the goal line. I love Stetson, Brock and all of the great skill position players on Georgia's football team. To my eye, those skill position players on offense were better, stronger and faster than the Buckeyes and this is why they won this great game.

I'm a Michigan transplant to the South. The North doesn't quite get that football takes on a very big significance in the South. The so-called "Red states" don't get much positive media attention at any other time of the year. The media in general tends to treat the South with a condescending attitude. Their football dominance is a big source of pride (along with their military culture) and they aim to keep it that way. Also, many of the coaches down here talk with a thick Southern accent that Northerners tend to equate with less intelligence. Believe me, the coaches down here know their football and are probably more knowledgeable about the game than their Northern counterparts.
