They are doing it on purpose because it has an inflationary effect and they favor Trump because he will let them keep selling their poisonous product without competition from renewable clean energy sources - sun, wind, water, and the earth's internal heat. Biden and his Administration are thinking about the future of our planet and the health of our world and it's citizens who don't have to breathe poisonous gases and carbon particulates once we've weaned ourselves off of filthy fossil fuels.
