:-) No this is not really an official "Alpine" version, the term is just a little joke, because of it's green color and in contrast to the desert version. ;-)

I dont think a "Alpine" version exists....i mean there are , tropical ones , the swiss army ones , the Austria army ones , the us/ Canada bugeyes , the Italian version and your normal civillian Haflingers. I feel like the polycab versions are a different catogery. Off course in all these versions you have the different setups....like the ones with the winch underneath the right rear seat area , the swiss bantam version and so on. You could say that the schneewiesel is the Alpine version ?

Yes you are right that there is not an official "Alpine" version! But thank you for mentioning the Schneewiesel! That's really great, this would be a nice clip now during the winter! I will try to check out someone who owns one to produce a clip for Roadrarities! :-)

Hello Mohamad, in this clip he has mounted: 165/80 R13 tyres for winter. OffRoad usally 165/12 Maloya stures tyres as you can see like the spare tire in the clip. Sunny greetings to Indonesia from Austria

​@@roadrarities, Hi I remember the early Haf’s had a smaller tyre, 5 or 5.4" most had the 165/80 13" Semperit tyres, but some had a widened rim 7" diamond tread. (my crazy mate Phil made up a set of 8x 12” Bobcat tyres, they were just amazing in soft snow, I stopped for a pee and sank up to my wast! But don’t do this, because the steering is heavy, the unsprung weight reduces your speed dramatically and its not street legal! )
