I recommend the Zehmn 35 Compensator - it seems to have incredible gun kick control (better than the Jak BFB somehow) and also shortens radar pings. Would’ve been good to see this covered for the Ram 7 but i’d highly recommend it to anyone!

For long range I think stability stats are the most important above all else, maybe horizontal recoil but most guns with too much horizontal aren't that viable anyways as there isn't enough attachments to bring it down enough. Aim idle sway for snipers/semi-auto and firing aim stability for auto. Absolute game changers to your accuracy. Most people are actually better than they think at controlling recoil, it's these new sways/instabilities/visual recoils that make it so much harder especially on Mouse + Keyboard.

I use the integrated suppressor barrel on the Ram-7 for Warzone. I like the BV and Range increase and the there isn't much of a penalty. It also frees up an extra attachment slot so I can run a Foregrip and Stock for accuracy.

Im a big fan of reducing aiming idle sway.

The Zehmen35 Compensated Flash Hider is one of my go-to muzzles for some of my weapons. Having ZERO flash with a decent recoil control is always nice, it keeps things cleaner and stable. I play mouse and key and personally, I don't mind pulling down but horizontal recoil is something I always try to mitigate the most and any gun that has a really crappy WOBBITY WOBBLE so, yeah, mostly the Komodo or 7.62 equivilent [too many goddamn muzzles... STANDARDIZE PLEASE Activision.]

My preference : Long range : Long barrel + JAK BFB Support : Rear grip + casus brake

Good to see these vids coming back in. I’d guess the majority of subscribers have a certain level of interest that requires a bit more than “add this and you’re all good” so would benefit from this level of comparison, preference dependent.

Even though the ported has a shorter recoil pattern, I'd still keep the casus brake. The horizontal recoil makes the recoil pattern visibly thinner plus the visual stability of the iron sights is worth everything. Honestly if you're looking to go suppressed I'd say just use an optic or (even better) a different weapon that works better with an optic. I'd love to see an episode on the HRM and whether the long barrel grau sights are better than a reflex sight

Also, affected and independent ADS behaviour has a huge impact on your visual recoil. Independent gives more magnification but it looks more unstable, while affected sticks closer to your FOV, thus giving you a smaller iron sights (thus harder to aim at longer distances) but looks WAY more stable. Up to you.

I think comparing the aim idle stability and visual recoil on stocks of guns next would be a good idea since we now know how much the muzzles affect it

Interesting that you chose to go with the Casus. Over the xten? Was it just the visual shake? Also recommend trying out the suppressed barrel that gives bv and dr. And using all recoil control amd fire stability attachments.

Do you think there are any underbarrel grips worth using for recoil? I feel like I end up using the ads/movement grips 90% of the time with the other 10% being for hipfire (mp or zombies). The recoil stock and reargrip are usually way better in pros and cons looking at the stats. Which isn't a bad thing, it just feels odd that what used to be the primary recoil reduction attachment slot is an ads/movement slot now. It's bad in the sense that now I only use 2 underbarrel grips across all weapons, but I guess you could say that of any attachment slot.

With the hard sights the spitfire is the way to go. I don't like the jakbfb. I'm so used to controlling recoil that I pull down when I don't need to with that thing.

I use almost the same build but I changed the barrel for the suppressed one (Boreal 6C) so I can use an optic. I play on PS5 with a fov of 110.

i use the sonic supresor fro the 1100 ms bv, it helps,. same control as no muzzle.

boreal-6c barrell, bruen heavy support, hvs 3.4 stock, retort 90 rear grip and 60 round. try it out. it's as good as those overhyped muzzles

I agree that most players probably lean towards builds of the quads game play. Because the perimeters are so different and i assume the builds would follow and may even change the meta when playing solos could you do i break down of attachment changes that would most benefit a solo player ?

It would be nice to know how important firing aim stability is vs recoil control for semi-auto guns

Have you done a breakdown on the compensater that shortens radar pings? I've been using it and it's ok but I'm not sure how it exactly works based on description

The casus brake is definitely the best for visual recoil. There was hardly any

Shadow strike doesn’t have as much visual recoil as the other suppressors. Good suppressor option

Jak BFB is it right now. Especially if you want to run an optic and have to go without the stock. BFB makes up for the recoil control lost from not using stock.

I would argue that the "penalty" for the JAK BFB should be seen as a strength. Sure, you are on the minimap for about one second longer, but I already know I'm going to be on the map when I shoot an unsupressed weapon, so I'm already prepared for that. The added benefit in this case, and the reason I never pick up the Recon vest, is that they will not be able to see the arrow indicating my level of elevation. I feel that this is MASSIVELY overlooked when considering this attachment! Level of elevation is far more important in my opinion than the direction you are looking. The exception to that being in multi-player since there aren't as many rooftops and whatnot. Easier to track there with where you are aiming. In warzone? Not so much.

Couldn't agree more about aiming idle sway, as well as aiming idle stability. Neither show up in the stats to my knowledge, yet they show up as pro's/con's which doesn't make much sense to me..

Under barrels would be great. Bruen heavy, Dr6, XRK edge, sp10 angled, etc.

I love these kinda of things. Every game that i play i start to test and want to know the details. And on MWIII with attachments there are so many variables to take into consideration: - Probably not all attachments will have the same effect on all guns. We might have one or other that despite the values being the same, because of the base values of the gun, a certain meta attachment doesn't work right? So... - The different type of guns: auto, semi-auto, bolt action, or the different ways that you can build, for hipfire, ads, will require different attachments - The player: if he/she know how to use certain gun, control thar certain pattern or not, like that gun or not. But this video is interesting because the JAK BFB, theoreticaly, should improve you gun kick control. I always thought that was related to the visual recoil... looks like it's not. Now i keep thinking, and i will have to put myself to the test too, do i prefer the less actual recoil of the JAK BFB or do i prefer the less visual shake of the Casus Brake? I know that this would be a lot of work to do but would be great to see more videos of this series comparing different attachments on guns. - Sights: Like you made the RAM-7 with iron sights, would be good to see a comparisson with a 1x sight like the red dot ones, the "Slimline" red one showing how much would bounce with those muzzles. Could also show some middle range optics if you feel inclined to do so. - Underbarrels: show the comparisson of the most used ones - Muzzles. I think these 3 options are the main ones that we most often use to reduce recoil (visual or actual). And do for all classes of weapons. You choose a gun that you like, or that is meta on that period of WZ (wait to see what's gonna be !meta on S2) and show us some of these comparissons. It's great content. A lot of preference based when it comes to optics. But the 2.5x Corio Eagleeye seems like the unanimous choice. How does it compare to both the SZ Holotherm: says it's only 1.5x zoom & would counter smoke spam. Also curious to the -Ares Clear Shot: 7x magnification BUT 10% gun, vertical, & horizontal kick

I always preferred the Casus brake over the Jak BFB despite the so-called huge reduction in recoil, thanks for explaining why. The reduced visual recoil really does make a huge difference

I just use the suppressed barrel because it gives you better damage and range then the other barrels and I get an extra attachment for recoil control.

vt 7 suppressor for controller feels like more AA but casus for kbm for sure
