Folks of a certain age were shocked when he finally settled down. Nobody in the public eye from the '60's thru the '80's had the reputation he had. The closest was Jack N. What is even more surprising is that they are still married after 26 yrs. In Hollywood!

I remember Annette walking around very pregnant with "Ira," and then getting married to Beatty after "Ira" was born.

You don't even have the right child's name listed. Their first child was not Ira it was Kathlyn (named after his mother). Ira was Warren's father's name...They did not have a child named Ira - they are Kathlyn, Ella, Isabel and Benjamin.

I don't understand why 'strange' is in the title. It looks like a pretty successful marriage to me. Actually, they are married almost 30 years now and not once there was even a rumour of Beatty having an affair, considering the number of women he was with before Bening. Now that's strange, or I would put it, amazing.
