Trading part of sovereign country for probability of stopping agression is political lottery or what next comes out of ill Mr. Putin. Well finally if Ukrainian current gov with support of its people decides to agree with such offer, like allowing free elections or referendum Donbas etc(Luhansk) then fine. Most information I have gets top in few centuries back, but I usually accept both post ww2 countries territory and defined by nation and language and shared history, laws, economy etc. I hope for best for Ukraine and its people.
