Guys I just realized. Dog day had a similar fate to the mp from the mist movie (that guy had spider eggs layed in his skin and when they hatched he felt every bit of it)

Yeah bro it's really weird how prototype just appears out of no where immediately. but what freaks me out on how he knows and where does he see? i mean when mommy dies there's no evidence of something watching. he just appears. i mean CatNaps scene was even more obvious it just creeps me out. But like what is prototypes intentions with the body parts? the only thing he got is a upper half of mommy and CatNap.

I have a theory about the Prototype and why it's not killing the player at any given point of the game, even when the player was knocked out by the red smoke when CatNap took the mask. It's *learning.* It's watching the player solve puzzles and escape monsters to *learn.* It possibly, and more likely, *knows* that the player is coming for them so what's the best course of action? Throw everything you got at them? Make a trap with no escape? No, for the Prototype, it's to watch and learn the player so that it knows what precautions to make and to draw out their hope of surviving. If you saw the one tape where a scientist was talking to the Prototype, remember how it thanked that scientist because the Prototype was learning a lot from him to the point of mimicking voices. The Prototype is similar to Glados in a way. Instead of needing test subjects to solve puzzles, it's watching and learning the behavior and movement of the player. Who knows if it'll copy the player next chapter and have an "arms" race to solve puzzles as a boss fight to make it to the end to either escape or to set of a device that'll kill either of them should one of them arrive late to it. Maybe the Prototype is low-key, a sadistic entity that wants to draw out the player's hope because they were a Playtime Co. employee and wants to see them suffer to the end.

The chapter had the same threat but it was more eerie, keeping you on the edge when nothing will happen and making you think you're safe when something will happen.

DogDay was my favorite. AND HE JUST DIED THERE DRAMATICALLY- but there's no way he'll appear again "Normally" as he said he was the last smiling critter and died. while becoming a Flesh puppet. there's a chance he could appear again hostile because he's technically dead

I kind of feel the same way. The first time I thought it was betrayal, but CatNap after he cowers away seems to find acceptance almost.

Huggy wuggy, kissy missy, miss delight, cat nap and boxy boo was the only one in the tape that we havent meet in the main game. And he even make a apparence in project playtime so his desing is already finished. I think its kinda werd to put him there and never use him in the main game.
