One of the best superbowls I've ever seen

Sometimes i watch this game for that good nostalgia of early 2013

Such a good game. So underrated.

It's interesting to see how far the 49ers have fallen since then. They competed for a couple seasons after the Super Bowl, but the rise of the Seahawks ultimately prevented that Niners team from ever getting back to the big show. But that defense was one of the best I've seen in a long time. Patrick Willis, Justin Smith, and Aldon Smith led an amazing front 7. Donte Whitner and Dashon Goldson were 2 of the hardest-hitting safeties in the league. Take a look at the 49ers now, in the 2015 season. Patrick Willis and Justin Smith have retired. Whitner and Goldson have left. Aldon Smith had off-field issues and went across the Bay to the Raiders. Kaepernick looks merely a shell of his former self--throwing little 4 or 5-yard passes on every single play. Crabtree went from up-and-coming star to mediocre WR, and then left for the Raiders too. Vernon Davis went from being the deadliest, fastest TE in the league to being an after-thought in the 49ers' stagnant offense. And while the Niners now have Boldin and Torrey Smith, both of whom were on the Ravens in this Super Bowl, neither can do much as long as Kaepernick struggles. It's a shame that 49ers team, especially that defense, never got to win a Super Bowl. Not to take anything away from the amazing talent that is Ray Lewis, but that Niners D was also one of the best. And in that one special year, just a mere 1st and goal away from a ring.

Let's all be honest here: Jacoby Jones was the MVP of this SB.

I haven't watched enough superbowls to say this, but man this is my favorite one that i've personally seen. The storylines, the plays, the blackout, the halftime show, the almost comeback, this SuperBowl had it all.

That was a heck of a game. Everyone played their hearts 💕 out. No shame to no one. The black out wasn't expected but somehow was a nice touch, in retrospect.

Amazing season. Tough losses, our owner Art Modell died, but we still made it to the playoffs. Beat the great Andrew Luck and the Colts in the wild card. Beat Manning and the Broncos in the divisional round (one of the greatest games ever). Beat Brady and the Patriots in the AFC Championship game. Before the Super Bowl Torrey Smiths brother died, Ray Lewis announced his retirement. First Super Bowl where the head coaches were brothers, we became the first and only team to beat the 49ers in a Super Bowl. Amazing performance by Flacco and Jacoby Jones. Ray Lewis ends his career with another Super Bowl. Only sad this is that Patrick Willis retires without a Super Bowl win because he deserved one.
