Both are great phones. When it comes to flagship, it just depends on wether you wanna use iOs or Android.

I think what this shows us at the end of the day, is that people now have options. Both phones are solid and have special things about them. I'll always stay with Samsung because it's my preference, but now it's not a "who's the best", it's "what's my preference."

i wasn't very excited when i heard samsung was going to drop the curved screen but oh my god i never expected that flat screen with the smaller camera punch hole to be this beautiful, it looks MAGNEFICENT ! and that less curvy back glass with the brushed grey titanium...samsung just nailed the design this time, i can't rememeber the last time i liked a phone design this much

Now I do have the iphone 15 pro max but love the bigger brighter display on the Samsung S24 ultra. Considering that a lot of my friends and family also use ios I can take advantage of imessage (which I love btw) and other ios only features as well as facetime. Both are great devices, but I would go for Samsung as it is more versatile and I like the clean square design.

I am mostly interested in the built-in keyboard feature that can help me correct my spelling and grammar. English being my 3rd language, there were times my thoughts, and grammar may need some refinements, and I'm pretty sure this will be of big help for me. Can't wait to pick up my S24 Ultra on the 7th. how does the camera compare to Samsung Galaxy S23? I just had my S21stolen on vacation and need to replace it, is it worth the money to get the S24? I want it as a camera for travelling and zoom for filming video at football matches and concerts...

Can you tell me if your black coat in this photo comparison is truer on the S24 or iPhone 15? I feel like the true representation is the S24 based on a closer inspection on your shoulder on the right side of your face (not the shoulder strap side) If you look, it's definitely looking like S24 is picking up minor colour changes whereas the 15-Max is putting darkish colours over the greyish strands of the jacket (trying to explain it as best I can) I'm also curious about the GREY being more pronounced in the one shot too. I'm curious if you can take more pictures in different ways like light settings or zoom. I kinda wonder if like with taking photos in space and inserting colour changes based on rays or spectrum is if the iPhone is using it's facial recognition to enhance the quality but also negatively affects certain colours like black I would love to testing going forward as 1x 2x 3x etc going forward in comparison. Including the photo details for us so we know if we have a S24 it's better to use "these" zooms in "these" situations. What I mean is S23 is great in DAY at 1x to 10x however iPhone is better or the same only at 1x-2.9x then 5x-9.9x or whatever it is. A summary page of the collection of each would be WAY BETTER and HELPFUL imo then just straight up shots. Consistency in taking these shots between ALL BRANDS and all MODELS would be greatly appreciated I know it's asking a lot but if you could completely compare 5 generations of each BRAND it would be awesome. If you cannot do 5 maybe 4or3? Personally I don't think most of us do year over year upgrades. Anti-Reflection has been applied to the cover glass of the S24 ULTRA. This is a very big advantage. I want the same handling to be applied to the iPhone 16 Pro Line coming this year.

Do you have a video that highlights the key differences? This is a good video, but mostly seems to show how similar they are and that whichever one you choose is based more on preference. I've placed an order for the S24 Ultra 512GB, marking my first Samsung device since the S7 Edge in 2015. After that, my journey included the Huawei P8, Nexus 6P, OnePlus 5, 7 Pro, and the OnePlus 9 Pro, which remarkably kept its original screen protector for four years, becoming my longest-used smartphone. My time with OnePlus recently concluded due to their ban in Germany, a result of a patent conflict with Nokia. I also briefly switched to the Pixel 8 Pro but returned it due to unsatisfactory battery life. After nearly nine years, I am eagerly anticipating my return to Samsung. Additionally, I tried the iPhone 12 Pro Max for two weeks but confirmed that I am not an iOS enthusiast. I truly appreciate the freedom that Android offers.

Ive been buying between the note and Galaxy S series since the S3 and the biggest let down is that i have to get the note series in order to have the best specs.

Do you want to multitask? Do you like to customise? Do you like being able to choose the SMS app etc? Do you like to choose if you want dynamic island or not? List goes on. I think spec doesent matter right now.

Is the hashtag issue specific to Instagram on the Samsung phones? I never had that issue on my Pixel 6 Pro and now Pixel 8 Pro.

In my opinion, if I decide to upgrade my phone, I would definitely go for the S24ULTRA. It's an amazing device with great and useful features. Although iPhone has better video quality, Samsung is now closer and I hope they beat iPhone in the video department in the future. As an editor, no matter how good the video quality of iPhone is, I still need to edit it before uploading it on social media. Therefore, I don't mind if Samsung has not the best video quality because I love photography and Samsung provides many useful features in the camera and Samsung clicks better photos than iPhone . I am planning to upgrade to Samsung soon. Nice review! 👍

Couple things to note, I'm using samsung galaxy note 20 ultra and actually have dark mode enabled on tiktok so this doesn't apply and secondly I am able to tag everyone and do hashtags perfectly fine too without any issue. Only sad thing is that I won't be getting the cool ai features as my phone is stuck to android 13

Both are great but I've had iphone 15PM for 2 months and I don't like the fact that you cannot customise and move apps around to where I want them to be. There are like 5+ ways of taking screenshots on the Samsung but I can't say the same for the iPhone. so for me I'd have to go with Samsung. I understand some will disagree with me but it's just my opinion and experience

From what I've looked up, the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 beats the A17 in a few benchmarks. Which, to my knowledge, is the only time a Qualcomm chip has done that. I've been a phone enthusiast for over 5 years now and I've never seen the Apple chips lose a benchmark till now. antutu, geekbench and 3DMark. I forgot which, but the 8 gen 3 has won at least one of these.

Tbh, they're both really amazing phones. It all depends on your preference. If you like simplicity, then get the iPhone, but if you like to customize your phone and use the features that cones with the phone, then get samsung.

I have a question about Samsung Cloud, how does it work nowadays? With Apple I got my photos, backup, settings etc. in iCloud. With Samsung I have my photos on Onedrive (which I need a subscription for at microsoft), my settings, agenda, samsung pass etc. is in Samsung Cloud... Do I need a subscription for this? And then there's apps like WhatsApp which writes a backup on Google Drive. I feel like I need 3 different cloud storages to have my galaxy fully backed-up. Does anyone know how this works on a Galaxy Device?

All things considered these are both flagship devices; they are both top of the line. I recently switched to the new 15ProMax (used Samsung for 5 yrs) and I am very satisfied for various reasons. Try both to know which is better for you needs.

I noticed in all these youtube reviews they are shitting on s24 to be similar to s23 and s22 but they'll all ok and all praise for iphone which literally has the same design for more then 5 years now.

Why the whole world misses the point that Apple has a value for ease of usage and less complicated interface. They started from targeting business class who did not play games on their phones and that value is continuing till date even now a teenager also has iPhone.

Promising 7 years of updates for specific models only. The thing I hate about android phones that aren’t Google Pixels is that you’re taking a wild shot in the dark about whether or not your phone will get an update, you’re still relying on your carrier. I’ve bought phones directly from Samsung and used them on Google Fi, I still had to find an old AT&T SIM card to put in my phone to download android updates.

Going to keep.my s23 ultra 1tb for another 2 yrs. No need to upgrade every year now. Awesome video mate. Cheers

I am a Samsung Knight. However in terms of upgrade It's an incremental upgrade . Better AOD, Flat screen , 2600 nits, snapdragon gen 3. As an owner of the s23 Ultra, I'll wait for the z fold 6 and hope they use the best prototype designs and give it 100% to be as good or better than the Huawei mate x5 and Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition as first large foldable w integrated s pen. This upgrade is only for those who have the s22 or s21 or older , if you have the s23 ultra I recommend waiting one more year. With that being said android offers more value like multi tasking , stylus pen w gestures, foldable innovation, advanced emulation no limitations etc. This is exactly why Samsung, Google, Huawei and Xiaomi , One plus and Red Magic and the entire android family will always be lightyears ahead of ios and why I will never return my main sim to ios ever again.

I say this as someone who's never owned an apple product, but it bugs the hell out of me with apple always being on top in the camera department. Can we for once be on par? Like the night shot comparison the highlights were so blown out on the 24. And same with the selfie video. Your skin tone was so much better on the iphone

I always watch these Samsung/Android phone releases, then I go and buy iPhone. Having used iPhones since the 3gS model, I just don’t feel like switching. I’ve tried everything else, even Blackberry phones when they were around, but always come back to iPhone. Plus everyone in the family uses iMessage and FaceTime. Plus I use a MacBook and iPad and have also bought movies on Apple TV. I totally understand though when someone buys Samsung/Android, they have their pros but I just don’t use any of those pros. Everything just works smoothly and securely for me on iPhone, so for now I don’t see myself changing platforms. Maybe with the next models update next year, I’ll see. Haha!

end of 2025 samsungs cloud AI search should have two options , a small premium fee like a few quid a month, or splash screen adverts before u get to see the result, i know AI on the cloud is very expensive but a middle ground of choice would be nice for the end user

I switched from Android to iOS and some apps work a bit slower on iOS. For example on Viber, I wait much longer for pictures to be sent, while on Android I didn't have that problem. Also, I can't send pictures during a call, I have to turn off the call to send them.

The reviews all go on about speed and cameras, but what about its basic function as a phone? I returned the S24Ultra because the sound quality on my old Note 9 was so much better, plus the volume control didn't always work. The S24U sounded tinny.

I love the Multi tasks options with the uploads and all the AI features, I'm waiting on my S24 Ultra.
