Interesting bizarro world we are living in these days. It used to be that police were supposed to treat all citizens the same. Apparently now they are expected to coddle the rich and famous. What's most shocking is this directive is coming from police and city officials in Florida. FL is generally a state that respects the law and frowns upon criminals no matter their sob story or social status.

This was quite cordial compared to most officers in any jurisdiction. You're only making a big deal because people aren't treated the same under the separate but equal act. These type of publicity stunts only further confuse people. Anyone being sought out by paparazzi generally have the money for a chauffer and security. The officer was correct in his actions and what he told her. In fact the officer theoretically couldn't go as far as he did in telling the photog to leave the area of the traffic stop as long as he wasn't interfering with the officer carrying out his official duties.
