No Andy if you follow politics it's not an unlikely twitter feud. Debra Messing is a cheerleader for the DNC establishment. She was a champion for Hillary and spoke at the Convention. Susan Sarandon has been an activist for years. She spoke at the Women's March in DC. She spoke out against the DAPL. She supported Bernie. Two very different ideologies.

I don’t always agree with Ms. Sarandon’s political viewpoints, but I respect that fact that she didn’t just hop on-board the Clinton bandwagon like it seems the majority of her peer-group did. Sarandon had well-reasoned arguments for not supporting Clinton, and as she’d walked the walk as far as her own political views are concerned for a few decades, she wasn’t afraid to do so now. And then there’s Debra Messing, who thought that Twitter-shaming other celebrities who didn’t support Clinton as avidly or publicly as she thought they should was a good idea. Messing epitomizes the “celebrity” who’s about a decade removed from whatever made her famous to begin with; as that relevance fades away, she doubles down on her politics in order to seem relevant once again. Sarandon seems to have some well-earned political activist capital going for her, whereas Debra Messing... just does not.

of course there IS the middle ground. you CAN acknowledge that clinton is a corrupt establishment dem.....just like 90% of democrat politicians......BUT, at the same time, if you think trump was the better choice, you're a fucking moron. and yes, voting third party or not voting at all was literally handing trump the win; particularly if you were in a blue or purple state.

Well I'm informed and from the interview that Susan gave on Trump and Hillary it was clear that she thought Hillary was the bigger evil between the 2 of them and even if her leaning towards Trump was a protest against Hillary so at the end of the day she can't deny that she was more pro-Trump than pro-Hillary. I think she has the right to support anyone she chooses but don't walk back on what you had already said Susan.

SummerCurl They got into it during the primaries because Sarandon was for Bernie and Debra was for Hillary and one day Susan said that trump would bring a revolution faster (which is true but it's In bad taste to say that when so many people are genuinely afraid of what he'll do) and messing started implying that she was saying to vote for trump And every since then Debra sometimes randomly calls Susan out on Twitter because she seems to have a hate boner for Susan and Bernie Like she accused Bernie of not supporting a democratic candidate and she @'d Susan and Susan responded with a picture of Bernie supporting the said candidate The one thing Susan said that made me side eye her was implying that trumps win was good because people are getting more involved but Debra messing (and a lot of Hillary supporters) does the most when it comes to Susan It's not really a feud in my opinion because Susan doesn't really seem to give as much of a fuck as Debra does
