EPIC comment!

Yeah, this dog and pony show spilled over onto a game I was actually interested in. They just cut off the end of my game to broadcast the tip off of this one. I just flipped over to the MVC semifinal so I could see some real basketball by quality teams. Duke wants nothing to do with Loyola Chicago or Drake. But yeah, let's stop the whole world for coach K's final game. I can't believe the refs weren't paid off in advance to insure a Duke win here. I honestly don't know why they didn't just cancel all other college games on this day. I think the commentators, media, and analysts were all pissed that they had to be bothered with any other games than this one. I hope both of these teams completely implode their dynasties and tradition after this season.

One could argue that Roy left Carolina in a tailspin with such a sudden announcement. Duke had time to figure out what to do.

Oh and let's not forget their so called "hiring process " for coach k replacement. Apparently the powers at be within duke university wanted Tommy amakar. But coach k insisted it be scheyer. I understand you've built this program to what it is and as much as I hate to say it....coach k will go down as the greatest college basketball coach ever and one of the greatest coaches ever right up their with Phil Jackson, Bill belechick. But you're retiring. Go away and spend time with your grandkids. Let the duke hierarchy like the current chancellor and AD make that decision. @@bullionsean456 I know but if they would have beaten Duke the first time they played them (along with Purdue, Tennessee, Kentucky earlier in the season) then they would be ranked. Rankings don’t matter now. Time for the conference tournament and NCAA.

I agree to an extent although rankings do matter for seeding in the big tourny and confidence in general. Just saw the new AP Poll has them at 25. The dub against Duke was huge for confidence and entering the rankings right at the end of the regular season shows that their raising their game right at the perfect time. This team is dangerous and could do some damage this post-season.
