Thanks, it works on my Mate 30 pro! I used the oldest firmware in the list to downgrade. After installing GMS, I used the HiSuite Proxy and HiSuite to update the firmware to the second oldest firmware. Afterwards, the phone got OTA to update to the latest firmware, and GMS still works with the latest firmware.

By your instructions on my new p40 pro 5G version i had to download and downgrade to the same version as was installed. On my second p40 pro 5g i had to downgrade to 131 version an works like a charm in the last 6 months. I will see if i manage to make it to work. Thanks for your videos mate.

Hi Marius, I noticed that for the 131 version it's only the OTA-MF (not FullOTA-MF) which has only 820 MB. Is this the version you installed?

Works for Mate 30P. This is the best solution for downgrading if you can't find the right region firmware with dload method.(couldn't find C301 anywhere for mate 30P). If you messed up the region, you might mess up the Support/warranty app. The thing is you must find the right older firmware that matches your region, otherwise OTA won't work. But for me it doesn't matter as long as google works.

Hi ! Firstly, i want to congratulate you because of the video, is very very helpful so far and you explain very well!!! But when i click on the setup button in hisuite proxy i appears "Connection To HISuite Proxy Failed...." and then "Check If Your Firewall Is Blocking HISuite's Proxy Server". I desactivated my antivirus, allowed hisuite proxy in firewall and i am asking if you can help me figuring out whats the problem. I have the same smartphone as you. Keep up with the good job!!!

Hi, I have a P40, cannot fin any "approuved firware" with firmware finder, so i take the ANA-LGRP4-OVS1B116-log (11.0.0.116). Result is phone don't start anymore, just launch EMUI eRecovery, I try "factory reset" "wipe cache", same result. I try to download other firmwares for OTG install, it say ""Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package" Do you have any idea to recover my phone or if it's definitely bricked ? Thanks!

Why you downgrade firmware for different phone? Try recovery option in Hisuite.

hi thank you for the video it works great . this is my concern 3 days ago my p40 pro already have google(old method 4months ago) and im already emui 11(ota dec2020 update). with no problem and issue but i got a email that i need to change my google password so i did(big mistake) then it gave me aut. error and i have no choice but to do the new proccess(very thankfull) my simple question is do any body the did this proccess got an ota update ??

Hi there, I tried to downgrade my P40 Pro in order to get Google Play Services. I backed up my phone using HiSuite prior to this. Unfortunately the Google Play Services did not work as I had hoped. I am now trying to return my P40 Pro to the original version of software and restore all my files but I can't get it to work. How can I go back to the original firmware that was on the phone? The base software was @t and I rolled it back to @t. When I check for software updates it says I have the most current version but that's not correct. HiSuite is also not allowing me to restore all my files and applications. I need some serious guidance.... PLEASE HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!

When open HiSuite Proxy and paste URL path to zip file program automatically remove all after full/ I try to type manually, but when program see full/ (I think issue is ll/ ) program return me on beginning of the line and remove all after that. You made mistake in phone model. You can also try my other video using dload, maybe it will be easier for you.

Dear Sir, I have followed all the steps, but got struck after unzip the firmware finder 2.12.7.3 and couldn't find my firmware ELS-LGRP4- OVS 10.1.0.131 V410049 in the finder. Not sure if I got the right firmware for my Huawei P40 Pro. Thanks

Sorry, but no one can answer this. If you do everything correctly and gms works you can update your phone and using it without problems.

I have matepad T8 10.1.0.129(C636E3R1P3) KOB2-LGRP2-OVS. When I select my model, It pop ups an alert "probably you don't have connection to team mt server". Edited: Sorry after restarting my tab the alert changes to "Sorry, we do not have any firmwares for this model at the moment". Do you have a solution or other way to downgrade? Thanks

Why you use firmware not approved for installation? You need someone with box tool to unbrick your phone.

im at 10:40 ish and connected my phone to my pc it installed hisuite on my phone but it says i need to give it location permision but it dont give me the option, it asked for storage phone contacts sms and calender but not location so i cant open hisuite on my p40

Does means there is no firmware for your phone. Check in Google for dload firmware or try VMOS method.

I wouldn't get the firmware with the 26 at the end when searched on the laptop but was able to find it on phone finder, there is other firmware that I can find on the phone firmware finder and on the laptop so is it okay to install those?

No, never try to install firmware not approved for installation. Try with dload method.
