The owner of that establishment knows that all he has to do is put forth symbolism and everything will be washed under the bridge. He charted a list of his symbolic connections to fully establish that point! He will not change his behavior, unless there is a camera on him. He will discriminate against people in less overt ways, because all he has to do is put forth symbolism to rectify his heartfelt racism.
