I've been there 11times in the last 5 years and it's always a great experience! Great food and great prices! But my favorite place is in Kaoshung. Now I'm just waiting for the borders to open up for tourists.

I love Taiwan. I'm Indian, living in Singapore and I've grown to love East Asian culture over the years. Taiwan is my favorite fun city and I've been there many times in different seasons. One tip I have is to try and avoid going during typhoon season.

I traveled to Taiwan for my second time last Nov and I traveled from Taipei to Tainan then KaoHsiung. It was awesome. I loved everything; the people, the sceneries and, definitely, the foods. Will go back there again soon to discover some of the things shown in this video here. Thank you.

Some of the best Chinese food in the world can be found in Taiwan. The quality is fantastic and clean, fresh ingredients are normal fare.

A great video! I lived in Taipei when I was stationed there with the Air Force in 1973-74. Didn't experience most of what you talked about as I was a young man and mostly went to the bars, drank beer, and chased women. But I did make it to Sun Moon Lake and a few others places around the island. My wife (of 41 years) and I went to Taipei last year, did the street food, and traveled around the island. Hope to return as we live in the Philippines, only a short flight away. Alan

One of the best video about Taiwan, the best food I found in night market, the friendliest people on the planet, the best part for me was : everybody speaks English, hardly wait for 2020 to go back for another month.

I'd lived in Flushing NYC for 30 years. Been back to T-Won for 6 years... I LOVE Tainan better. It's not too crowded and we speak Taiwanese :) It's exactly like the north & south of America... Modern VS good old school style :)

I felt weird when he said it's hard to find bubble tea in the US, those are literally everywhere. And as a Taiwanese, I found a lot of my American friends like it way more than I do.

Xingtian Temple,Can take the MRT, Xingtian Temple Station~ another choice~~Longshan Temple,Can take the MRT, Longshan Temple Station~
@lindasu47174 роки тому
There are so many temples in Taiwan. The one shown in the film in Taipei is Shing-Tien Gung (行天宮). Another famous one which has older history is Long-Shan Si (龍山寺)。

At 12:44, he says about boba tea that "you'll have a difficult time finding this in the US"... seriously? Where does this white man live? Has he ever gone to any parts of any major city where there are other ethnicities? Boba tea has been a thing since the late 90s where I live (SoCal).
@terripebsworth96234 роки тому
Yes, the Taiwanese introduced "bubble" tea to CA.
@michelea28124 роки тому
Video was filmed over four years ago. There was no boba in my state back then. Not everyone lives in California!
