I was sweating hard as soon as Baker took that cheap shot, from one of my guys, and got up pissed. I told my girl “A pissed Baker is a really good Baker.” TB needs to re sign him and if they can squeeze another year out of Evans and Godwin…in that division…I like their chances.

Bucs fought hard, and Baker definitely deserves to be the guy in TB going forward. Very impressed with his game.

Dude it’s so crazy to see someone’s say that about our team. I’m 38… the lions haven’t seen a playoff game or came this close to one in over 32 years. So my entire life I’ve watched the lions lose. Finally we have a squad.

The Houston Texans (2002) haven't been around nearly as long as the Detroit Lions (1930 Portsmouth Spartans. 1934 Detroit Lions), nor have you had to suffer through a winless campaign or 32 years without a playoff win, 67+ years with only one playoff win (1991-92 season) since 1957. No offense, but Texans fans have had it WAY better than Lions fans. The situations are not the same, so don't act like they are. The only fans who even come close to being like Lions fans are Cleveland Browns fans. At least they've been around almost as long and went through similar struggles, along with their own 0-16 season after the Lions did it first.

Yes, he deserves long term security and I think Tampa will give him that. He played well down the stretch to get the team into the playoffs, as did the rest of the Bucs. Everybody thought TB would be mediocre without Brady. Guess they, and I, were wrong.

@@theproperenglishman yes, but down the stretch they were playing very well. The Lions ended up 9-8 last season as well, and look at them now. Sometimes you can't look at the record, but how they are trending at the end of the season. The Bucs were trending upward, just like the Lions in 2022.

@@jmgonzales7701 Tom Brady once threw 3 INTs in the playoffs vs the Packers. Also, the 1st INT wasn't on him- his WR popped the ball up to the CB. The 2nd INT was his fault. But typically, throwing for 350 yards, 3TDs, and 65% completion is enough to win a game, even with 1 bad INT.
