So my Desi took my nana but she missed her siblings and family and cried and cried and did not know this new man and my great grandmother caved , and brought her back to her mother thinking she was doing the right thing and left her 4 children, nana was only 14mo old. She had no mother or father. Now I have 4 children, two fathers . All just reaching adulthood. My mother’s mental illness and this generational curse has fallen on my life and has greatly impacted my mental wellbeing along with my relationship with my children. It’s been so difficult to get through this last 24 years but I am so grateful that I can finally speak out and I finally have support from healthy sources that are truly inspiring and encouraging and help to provide clarity during dark days / give positive & critical feedback that is essential for growth .
