I actually love the fact that this song is so short and ends kinda abruptly. It makes perfect sense. It symbolizes the relationship taylor is singing about. There was so much effort from her side but at the end she couldn't keep going alone in a one sided thing so she just suddenly stopped talking to him. The song ends abruptly just like their conversations did.

I love how the song starts off with denial but slowly ventures into acceptance and realization. Why was this masterpiece not released earlier 😭

Now that I’m over them she releases this song that feels bittersweet to what it ended but there’s new beginnings anyway.
