Actually it's proof it can. That's why she is remaking them and wants them replaced (eventhough nothing can replace the originals). They're not stolen by the way, someone else holds the rights to those specific recordings. If she wants that back she could by them. If I was an artist and one as enormously rich as her, I would simply buy them back.

@@abrahamaby8416 There is different version because Taylor does not own her previous albums and songs including this one. So she is re- recording them, and would finally be able to own her work. As for the differences, her voice is much more stronger in this than the old one( I guess) and someone else in the comment section said something about guitar as well. If you want to know more about the re- recording part, then google it. :) Edit: And also she is trying to keep it as similar as possible with regards to the original one.
