Ligma causes involuntary twitching of the tongue, whereas sugma leads to spasms in the lip region, causing them to purse and/or create suction. Some have drawn comparisons to one's reaction to eating a lemon. Sometimes, these disorders can be comorbidities, leading to a combination of tongue twitches and lip muscle spasms. Sufferers of this condition struggle to eat most food, as it becomes difficult to fit and consume, so they have to restrict their diet to things like bananas, popsicles, carrots, and celery sticks. As someone with PhD (self-diagnosed), I suggest three doses of D.N. a day for the next six-to-eight weeks. If symptoms persist, I'd suggest arranging for an appointment with an M.D.

Dude, i get you, i got out of chronical depression after 4 years of struggle, but do you know how differently wired your brain is when you are sick? I remember that for the first 2 years it felt somehow better and safer to stay in the gutter, without actually wanting to change. Now i am out i can not even fathom how or why i thought that, i lost so many friends an even a partner of 5 years because of it, but you do not think clearly, you can not rationalize that feeling of not wanting to get better. It was not even for attention, like anybody treated me better because i was sick, no excuses worked, nothing, exams and prelims happened as usual, my mom treated me as usual, my friends treated me as usual, no benefits, just pure self-hatred. I still understand what you are saying, stuff like laziness and self-pity can and should be fought against, but understanding that every mental illness will have a time of passivity and "acceptance" before solution-oriented action is also important. Getting out of the depression in under two years is super rare, GAD and panic attacks usually stay with people for life, my sister had severe OCD for three years resulting in anorexia and will have minor to mild OCD for the rest of the life, people have had PTSD for 30 years since the war happened in my country with catastrophic relapses around 9th and 10th month in the year, these struggles have a tendency to become the new normal for you, you can not even imagine that it could be better and that it is worth it to fight.

I was diagnosed with manic bipolar disorder when I was 18. I used to hang out with a crowd a lot like this and I would always give them the benefit of the doubt when they romanticized mental illness because it was “edgy”. But after going through what I’ve gone through these past 5 years I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Being unable to control your thoughts and outrageous delusions is crippling. I’m sure a lot of us fear that we are ticking time bombs, so to hear someone say “I’m so bipolar, self-diagnosed” it is so frustrating. Because they have no idea the dark depths that true illness takes you too. For those of you struggling, I hope you find the strength to make it through the day. Your life is precious and you are not a monster for the thoughts you can’t control. ❤️

Bipolar is also probably the most common one that peopple romaticise and fake for attention NGL, It's very fustrating, also it's very unlikely that anyone would ever share that they have a serious mental disorder like bpd, bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc. like are you kidding me, that'd give it away, then everyone would know, which would cause the person to get paranoid and create delusions that amplify the absolute fuck out of their existing delusion, its like a trigger, makes me furious when people fake that shit, you'd understtand if you're close to someone with a serious mental illness how uneducated people are about them

As a kid growing up in the foster system (specifically without a foster family, like a group home) mental illnesses are common. and ive always hated how social media portrayed them, because living my childhood and teen years struggling surrounded with others struggling 10x harder than they deserve was painful, and then later in life people making it look "cool" to struggle like that... words cant describe the shame they should feel. i appreciate you for making this video and portraying how uncool it actually is in your own way.

I did it because I was genuinely falling asleep in class for like no reason. I was upfront and honest with my piers about what I was doing. Until one of them snitched me out. The principle called my parents to the school we had a whole sit down about my sleeping issue. Eventually a doctor got involved and diagnosed me with actual narcolepsy. Turns out they'd been watching the same channel (somone wt torrets). Trough therapy the ticks went away... I mean, humans r very influential. N ur friend might have other problems by doing this I dunno? We need to feel a sence of belonging. We all adopt behaviors from friends/family etc. (I yell "NANIII" all the time😬🤐.) Hope he didn't selfdiagones?😵. Now wt Social media it's gonna affect this generation in shitty ways.. Alcohol being legal n other shit not, doesn't make it the ideal,-or a good drug. It's ignorant n similar to the criticism in the video. Now u r romantacising Alcoholims/addiction.. I mean, it’s uncommon, but it IS possible for someone accidentally find out they have DID. Yes, your brain hides it from you, but it’s not unheard of for someone to unintentionally stumble into the system while meditating, or connect the dots from more extreme symptoms and seeking diagnoses. I’d say DID lies on a spectrum. It is uncommon, but it’s important to bear in mind that rarity is considered in comparison to the global population and only accounts for diagnoses. Fewer than 200,000 per year is rare compared to the ~8 billion people on the planet and the birth rate and what not, but like….consider how many people that really is. Annually. And it is only those who get a proper diagnoses. There are going to be variables that aren’t well understood and a spectrum that includes less common things even within that rare disorder. I agree that there is a very real issue of kids faking and romanticizing disorders, self diagnosing, and jumping to conclusions, that isn’t something I am going to argue over. My point is that overgeneralizing how a disorder works, especially one that is still not well understood like DID, can have negative consequences. I don’t intend to blame anyone for messing up in this regard as…well, as I said, it’s rare and still not well understood. I just wish to spread awareness on how people could potentially think more closely in wording things and help clarify points that aren’t particularly obvious to most. I hope this is informative and does not come off as rude, it is not my intention, but I realize I sometimes come off in ways I don’t intend. (I am a properly diagnosed ASD adult.) I tend to be hyper-formal in my speech for things like this as I hope to more clearly communicate and avoid unintentional and stressful social faux pas/unintentionally insulting or being rude to others. I find it helpful when people are willing to understand this and are willing to explain where and how I go wrong if I do come across as rude or hurtful, and how I can better phrase things in future myself. I appreciate your comment overall however, and wish you the best of luck in all endeavors!

It is so draining to be around people like this... no matter what you try to do or say you CANNOT undermine them or else they accuse you of being ableist and it’s just impossible to have a conversation without them absolutely one-arming everything with their disorders. Like they just always bring the mood down so heavily with their ‘suffering’... and they always are the type to act like they are a voice of authority over how YOU deal with your own mental health as well. Seriously this shit is exhausting. We should be able to feel open and accepting to all people with a variety of disorders without needing constant reinforcement of their suffering. Plus it feels so dehumanising to constantly see them as people in a state of perpetual suffering!!! We are capable of existing beyond our disorders.

As someone with some professionally diagnosed mental disorders, this video is great. I hate seeing people romanticize awful mental diseases, and have others try to compare trauma. Even I find myself comparing my trauma to others by virtue of internet competition on who has got it worse. Being on medication and getting help by virtue of therapy or other means is what should really be pushed, because people are developing real issues from online influence and suffering real consequences.

Great vid, I will never understand how we got to the point where young people need to do these things to feel like they fit in. It points to something fundamentally fucked. Maybe somekind of overswing of the pendulum? When I was in high school I made it my life to conceeal the fact that my family suffered greatly from mental illness. It was absolutely 100% necessary to not go into any detail as to why I didn't go on holidays, couldn't have any friends over and why mum never picked me up from school. In hindsight it would have been nice to be able to talk about these things, vital even. Now, the things I fought to keep hidden because of the pain they caused me are being worn as badges of pride. Like, instead of just talking about issues they are facing, these kids are now using these issues as the pillar around which they base their identity. People with mental illness do not want their mental illness. It is not what makes them who they are, they cause pain to themselves and those around them and can take a lifetime to bring to a point where they are even manageable. The attitude these kids have towards them is simplistic, demeaning, condescending and ignorant. But kids will be kids I guess? I don't know, shits all fucked up.
@candyman9635
@candyman9635 2 роки тому
Sometimes it causes pain, with others it is part of who they are. For example, I'm autistic and I wouldn't change that for the world. There is a less gloomy side to kids like this, it shows that the stigma behind mental illness that you just described is lessening in the world. It was more fucked when you were in high school that people couldn't talk about it at all. I just understood what you meant by over swing of the pendulum, I agree. It will balance out and we'll find a happy medium between stigma and "wow guys it's so cool to be depressed" EDIT: I watched the video, these types of people need to be shot or gassed, removed from the gene pool post haste.

Being perceived as marginalized or somehow disadvantaged can win you a lot of sympathy in this sad, superficial virtual social existence which so many people call their life. Also it doesn't help that the incidence of mental illnesses has grown exponentially in the last 15 years, thanks to all the lovely new tech and social media. If you are under 25 yo, being anxious and depressed is pretty much the new normal.
@raymondmartini5500

@@arthurthegreat216 Totally agree. Then what we need is new classifications and new ways of understanding these new states of general depressed/anxious malaise. To lump them in with our current understanding of mental health, which has tried for the better part of 200 years to define and treat these issues, now to all of a sudden have this vastly different landscape create entire new personality traits and then trying to stuff these new shapes into our current models clearly isn't working.

Thank you for making this, it's one of the reasons I dislike tiktok. I have a lot of shame surrounding having Tourettes, OCD and CPTSD (professionally diagnosed) and because people are romanticising disoderds (especially tics, it's so offensive and disrespectful) I'm constantly afraid of people thinking I'm faking or wanting attention. I've had people come up to me and ask about my tics give me advice they saw on tiktok, a classmate even came up and said I should learn sign language to communicate because she saw it on tiktok. There's so much misinformation out there or pretending that these aren’t serious. I would give anything to be normal.

I LOVE THIS!! I've been waiting for a very long time for people to start turning the corner on this nonsense, for people to slowly start remembering that they don't have to walk on egg shells for ANYONE, and they certainly don't EVER have to feel intimidated because some mob of spoiled, blue haired, sexually ambiguous, social rejects has been enjoying an unprecedented level of power and influence for the last 5 or 6 years, with the last few FINALLY REACHING a point that's just so unbearable for the sane members of society, they've come full circle, and are now taking their rightful places in society back from idiots like this who've been EXPLOITING the decency of most people, simply to advance insane agendas and then abuse the concept of mental illness and various other "conditions", to assume a "victim status", which then enables them to get away with almost anything they feel like doing.... I am so grateful I stumbled across this channel/video, because 2 or 3 years ago, if someone even expressed a desire to make a video like this, they'd be destroyed by the blue haired Gestapo in no time, let alone actually making and publishing the video LOL.... Keep it up folks, once you start to push back, even a little bit, you realize the emperor has no clothes, no spine, no real argument or even physical ability to intimidate you lol.... it's all just an aggressive front to get decent people to cater to their every move, hoping people will essentially refuse to call their bluff.... I encourage EVERYONE to START RIGHT NOW if you haven't already, and never refuse to speak your mind, express your opinions, or otherwise condemn the actions of people like this.... you'll immediately see for yourself that the vast majority of us will come join you, and you'll also see for yourself that these types of people actually have no power or influence whatsoever, ALL OF THAT comes from US, and if we STOP giving it to them, they'll all scurry back to their parents basements as fast as they can, anything to avoid being held accountable in life lol.... Rant over, thank you for making this skit, it's hilarious!!

This really brings me back to Highschool. It was honestly like this with some people, you couldn't talk to them properly, they had no interest in helping themselves but all they wanted to do is complain. Especially that child of divorce part, I remember hearing a girl scream that at her friends as an excuse before running off. This happened near my locker so I overheard. I was a "child of divorce" too, but I never used it as an excuse as believed I was in control, regardless of my home situation which wasn't good. Personal experience doesn't equate to evidence but I've known a lot of people like myself as well, some people handle it better because they want to help themselves. My advice. You can't have the mindset of wishing your life was better, you should want to better yourself and everything else will follow.
