While I hear a lot of the original underneath your rendition, there is a distinct shift in the tone of the music towards orchestral type sounds. I can definitely appreciate the remaster/remake. I'd be interested to hear your original sounds as well.

I like the harp a lot. The off tune ringing of the chimes / bells is a bit much in the lower register but otherwise adds a lot of cathedral like feel. Solid synths and arps. I could listen to this for a while without getting tired of it. Drum pads could benefit from a bit more of a kick (idk what the correct term or method is but something similar to side chain). I'm no sound engineer so idek what I'm talking about but these stood out to me.

The thing I love about Devourer of Gods is that it’s theme belongs to him, scourge of the universe and Servants of the Scourge. The Similar beat plays when it’s his turn however universal collapse comes out as his beat is replaced by a new faster hopeful symphony as the Calamity Motif sings the loudest it can. Not only do you fight The Devourer of Gods you also take over his goddamn theme song.

I made a similar comment on the original song but DM Dokuro disabled all his comments Me and my sister played Terraria for the first time a few years ago and we encountered a Devourer in the Corruption that killed both of us, and then started flying straight up into the sky. We checked the map because the console version (the one we were playing) highlighted enemies with purple dots, and so we saw the line of dots go into space, never to be seen again. Our headcanon is that the same Devourer went on to become the Devourer of Gods. Every time I fight that space worm, it's the same Devourer that killed us back then, using its supernatural abilities to come back whenever I succeed or fail in killing it.

Dog does have lore. Essentially, a worm who learned to control portals and dimensions, and gained strength in using them to eat more and more powerful beings, as well as cosmic energy. Yharim found him, got draedon to armour him up, and used him to execute prisoners. Dog got strong enough to break free of this eventually, and summoned its worshippers as the void and signus and stuff, and eventually because known as the devourer of gods since all its strength allowed it to do just that.

Well, some stuff really is underrated. GP, the Scourge of Streaks, is a legend who has humiliated and destroyed Calamiity bosses several times. Captain Missile is a guy who's really good at not being noticed on the Internet, and making epic remixes of songs.

I love this. The way everything seamlessly falls into place so well with the original song is amazing. Those bells right before Scourge of the Universe really make it feel cinematic. You know, you should possibly look into talking with a mod dev about making this a music box for in game, or that it overrides the standard music for the bosses.
