I was just thinking that. Ang Yee was not even conversing on this level. She couldn't even get a word in, she came off too timid or if she didn't have knowledge on the conversation she would be quiet. Jess is bulldozing the conversation. I watch interviews I don't even care about just to get Jess response on it. The chemistry between these 3 are through the roof. Not to ish on YEE, cause Yee does great with what she does great in.

What Terry Crews and Taraji PH described were two different scenarios. His was about agreeing to terms and working for less to a get a start. Her’s was about paying her dues and getting the credits, but still being offered less or way less vs her peers / counterparts. Simple as that!

Studied acting at Howard University, went from Baby Boy, Hustle and Flow, Benjamin Button, Hidden Figures, Color Purple, Golden Globe award, Oscar nominated… she has more reason to demand more pay vs Terry Crews, a hilariously great actor, but I don’t see a lot of range in his films and even he said staying in the gym helped him with his first role as a gangster! His main point still stands. If you read contract terms, and sign off on it, then you shouldn't complain because you agreed to that amount.. The time to address any issues is before the contract is signed, not after the work is complete.

The ladies are stating that they are not being offered what they're worth, and they have to fight or turn down these projects because these studios and corporations are low balling them based on sex and race. I don't recall Terry bringing up Taraji or Monique, but he was talking about Terrance Howard stating he only got $12k for Hustle and Flow. I think Terry was implying that Terrance could've walked away from that role if he wasn't happy about the pay. And if I recall, Terrance didn't want to do the film, but the producer begged him to take the role.

Terrence was robbed of what was promised from his original contract in doing Iron Man. He was paid 2 million in the first and was promised to get a much larger payment dealing with the success of the movie. The movie grossed almost 600 million dollars and put Marvel back in the game. They offered him less than what he made on the first movie, and the then went to another black man that worked for a fourth of what he was paid. This is what Holly-wierd does to black actors.
