EVERY CT will probably get a wrap within the first year. Otherwise, they all look alike, and most car enthusiasts hate that idea.

Biggest concern is using the truck for towing... most chargers are used with the vehicle backed in, does that mean every time that you want a charge you have to disconnect the trailer... be nice if some chargers had a drive thru capability. I own a model Y performance that I sometimes use for my motorcycle trailer, to be honest it is a PITA to charge, due to disconnecting of trailer first. Elon, please have at least a couple of superchargers that are drive through.

I've seen the new charging stations designed for the Cybertruck specifically, they are drive through chargers which look big enough for a 35' truck and wide enough for a semi tractor. My guess is that the ev semi might also be able to use this same charger. 20 minutes from 10% to 100%

Don’t forget that this production model is also SMALLER than the 40K prototype Musk showed off four years ago. And most of what it is towing are massive batteries to attempt to achieve a decent range. Which everybody knows Tesla constantly over-states.

There are videos out there showing a giga casting being welded. I don't have reference as I didn't keep it and it was a long time ago since this was originally debated. Munro live has also talked about this.

Problem with gigacastings is that as it's one structural piece make these $50,000+ vehicles totaled after a collision that could traditionally be repaired.

I think DUPONT with their films for racing cars, should consider selling film for applications on the cybertruck. Imagine if an advertising company knew the cybertruck would induce head turning observation. At the Unveiling, they offered a "Starting Price" for a "Single Motor" version, of $39,900, but that doesn't mean, that the First Trucks will "Start" at that Price! They typically start off at the Highest Price Version! In the Cybertruck case, that was the Tri-Motor version, at "$69,900" - Pre Inflation Adjustments!

@@Withnail1969 - Well, if they start, with an as yet undefined "Quad Motor" version, that is still a "Possible" starting price, for First Deliveries (this Year)! Personally, if a Quad Motor is offered, it seems it should offer even greater Towing Capacity, beyond the Tri-Motor, that was stated to be 14,000 Lbs, or 4,000 Lbs above the Dual Motor version, of 10,000 Lbs! So, maybe a target of "18,000 Lbs Towing?" And, shouldn't the "Range" be Higher, as well, like, maybe a figure around 650-700 *Miles*, in the Quad? (To be a "Fair Value" for $100,000!)

Tesla, should add a Car Alternator. On the cars and trucks. That they build . Have it being,driven off the Gears of the Transmission. That are at the Electrical Motorand the Gears that turn the Wheels. This would be putting Electrical Current into the Battery as you drive. And would not take any Electrical Current out the Battery. But only put Electrical Current as you drive. And on long, drives, that would maybe make it that you would not to stop. To charge the Battery.If the Alternator was putting out about 200 to 300 Amps.

You don't get chrome on a door wedge or a great shed stuck on the front of it you can sell as a frunk and stick your big logo on it. There is no deception with a door wedge, it's not trying to look like a brick or a stone just because that's what people used in the past. A door wedge is honest to it's shape and function. Did you know the name Triumph was fist used on a bicycle? My pride and joy having saved up my pennies from my paper round was a Triumph Grand Sport, Triumph went from bicycle to motorbike and then to car.

If memory serves, the Cybertruck was originally conceived, at least in part, as an answer to the question of what kind of vehicle people could drive around the surface of Mars. I don't know whether it was simply the coolness of the thing that made Earthlings want to drive them here, or a business decision by Tesla to help them finance other things; either way, as impressive as it is, for driving here on Earth, I'd much rather have a top of the line Roadster--the one with the rocket boosters in the rear.

So much effort and hype for the CT, and it still looks UGLY I have owned TSLA stock for almost 10 years, and honestly hate to see the CT. My wife would not even consider riding in it with me if I bought one. Just dumb IMO. Glad so many people are so hyped about it though, so TSLA stock will continue to rise. Personally, he should just make a VAN that looks like a box, and it might be worth looking at. All Tesla vehicles look cheap to me so far. Glad most people disagree with me.
