At the time, you didn’t realize these were going to be the good ‘ol days. Man, I had so much potential and things really going for me. Now here I am, an old man, dreaming about what could have or should have been. Oh well, F it, it’s not like everyone makes it.

Coolest thing about this video is watching this crowd of kids so completely moved by the song and embraced in the moment. No stupid cell phones. No videos. Just pure, unbridled joy. What a beautiful thing to see the audience so connected connected to the performance. I just like many of the posters here am a child of the 80s. Between the 70s and the 80s…NEVER will there be a better time in music. Sorry kids of today. The music from our generation stands the test of time. TESLA .. this band is so completely underrated!!! Amazing vocals. The lyrics on this song are so inspirational. Every one of their songs are amazing. I had the pleasure of seeing these guys with Poison and Joan Jett and Cheap Trick several years back. Good times.

It's hope ❤ it makes me feel the same way, I finally figured it out, HOPE! I have been lacking it for so long I forgot what it felt like and the last time I heard this song was 25-30 years ago so when I heard it again I had confusion as well, I've always loved this song but something hit a little different now rather than when I was a a Kid. I realized the difference was back then , I was looking forward to everything life had to offer me it was full of possibilities . I took it for granted because I had always had it !! I am not sure what or when i lost it but i did somehow! I've had a rough and painful past few years ! But, I didn't realize how much I this has affected me! Until recently hearing this song , it made me cry and smile and honestly it sparked something in my soul that I needed, that's for sure! I hope you have the same energy and strength that I have taken from it! 😇😌

It's hard to describe the feeling of being a teenager back in 1980's when all these songs were being released and played on the radio for the first time, it felt very special and i had no idea how truly special it was and how things would change like they have now in 2023. Music is very different now and im not saying its bad but its just where in a different age of music now. Look in the crowd when you watch this video there's no cellphones and it's sad some people would never understand or experience the old live concert style when we all used lighters.. You do still kinda see it but not like it was in the 80's.

Thrasher \m/ And what was it hard rock??cause it's pratically a synonimous since hair metal identifies just a look and was only a stupid term invented by medias and magazines during the era
@dannyrevolver98947 років тому
Thrasher \m/ They had a bit of glam image with Mechanical Resonance though,especially Jeff...but i guess it's not important cause glam was still hard rock in the 80's(almost always),and there has to be kept on mind that "glam" is just another word that identifies only a look and not a sound...thing that most people still seem to don't get

Olivia Menard Great post, my mom and I would sit on our back porch and she wanted me to play Powder finger by Neil Young. My mom, wife and daughter all left this world way to early. Moments like this turn into memories. Please take nothing for granted, cherish each and every moment, and tell the people you love what they mean to you each and every day, before they too, go away.

One of the most timeless ICONIC songs to EVER come out of the greatest era of music ever. No one growing up today could ever imagine the fun WE had in the 80,s, the endless concerts, kegger parties, rural bonfires in the middle of nowhere . To go back to those incredible care free days I,d give 19 years out of the rest of my life.

I have a daughter who's been addicted to heroin for the past 10 years. She was a stunningly beautiful green-eyed redhead and a sensitive & caring person. But the drugs have turned her into someone I no longer know. Although it seems like there is very little hope of her ever getting clean, I still pray that love will find a way. To my Vanessa: Hoping that the love of life you once had as a child finds its way back to you. Keep an open heart and you'll find love again. Love you!
