You wanted to know how the balloon did not pop when it was pushed against many needles but it popped when it was forced against one needle. Well the science behind it is that when you have one needle you are focusing all of your applied force directly onto one point causing a harsher amount of pressure on the specific point of the balloon which causes it to pop, whereas when you have many needles you are spreading your force evenly on every point dividing the applied force by how many needles you have so this is what causes it not to pop.

Hi Rug, The Ball-Pin trick works because as you add more pin, the surface area of pressure from the pins increase. As pressure and surface area inversely related (Pascal Theory), more surface area means less pressure on the balloon. As a result, the balloon did not pop when there were more pins on the table.

5:51 we are learning about pressure in physics at school and I think I can answer that. So, the formula of pressure is p=F/A. So, p is preassure, F is force and A is the surface. Let's take an example, one needle has a small amount of A (surface) causing the preassure to be bigger. If you increase that surface by throwing in more needles the A (surface) increases. Sorry if I had any typos or smth but I'm from Greece and we don't learn so much English 😄 anyways probably no one is going to see this😂 keep it up rug, thanks for that amazing content!!!

i know the sciience between the baloon and pins one .. when u keep a single pin the area of the pin is less so it pops but when u keep many pins the area is more so it doesnt pop when area is less pressure is more and when area is more pressure is less another experiment - a chair which is filled with pins like that doest hurt when u sit on it

The atmospheric pressure focuses on one point that makes the balloon pop but when we use many pins we make the pressure focus on all points reducing the pressure exerted by the pins and hence it does not pop. Hope it helps lol :)

The science behind the popping of the balloon is that Pressure increases with decrease in area (as in one pin) while pressure decreases with increase in area (as in many pins). Technically pressure is inversely proportional to area.

I also asked about heart transplants because I remembered my science teacher bringing up the comparison of your heart and fist up and was curious if it would still be the same. The answer is yes. They actually take the size into account as well.

The science behind the baloon nd the pin experiment is pressure...as pressure is inversely proportional to surface area....with one pin... due to less area...the pressure is high nd thus the balloon pops...whereas for balloon with many pins...creates a greater surface area..thus pressure is low...I hope it came in handy

Theres magnets for the apple charger cube one (inside the wall/doorframe) btw. And for the balloon and the pushpins one, you're creating a "bed of nails" so it's a flat surface which makes it not pop, there's actually beds of nails that you can sleep on and it wont harm you.
