Try Wyandotte chickens, Kris! They are a Native American breed that tend to lay eggs well in winter compared to other breeds. Plus they are black and white and look so pretty! 😍 Also, there is a sugar wax recipe with the same ingredients but different ratios that make it have a consistency of taffy and won't even need waxing strips. The texture thing is so real. The gel I use works great (which ironically is flaxseed based), but it's like dipping your hand in a combination of raw egg and snot. Tip on the chickens. Chickens really only lay during the brightest hours of the day and since the days are shorter in winter they don't have as much time to lay eggs. I put some bright LED's in my chickens coop and they still lay the average. LOVE YOU KRIS!!!!❤
