Defense looked way better. Scourtin is a big improvement over Diggs and Overton from last year on a defense that was among the NCAA best in sacks. Secondary looked 10 times better. Much better defense scheme overall. Reminded me of the last defense that Elko led when A&M should have played in the CFP. Running back room is even deeper with the maturing Owen’s and addition off EJ Smith. There were 2 other backs who made some nice runs in mop up duty. Receiver may take a step back with the loss of Anais, but liked what I saw from Allen.

i think y’all overreact to spring games. a good offensive play is a bad defensive play and vice versa. it’s year one and it’s easier to setup defense at a new program, especially with a guru like elko. the offense will come by spring.

Some are making too much of the spring game. Scourton is clearly good. The defense will likely be better this season than last. It’s hard to say if the offense will be improved.

I feel like Henderson displayed the best Arm talent. His throws were the most complicated and he threw the most yards out of All QBs, and keep in mind he is coming off of a severe injury too. Reed had longer drives, but ran more, and a few times were actually touched (which would have been a tackle or a sack in a real game, but the refs didn't call it) The maroon team had the least experienced Defense, so, I thought Weigman would have done better against that D. A lot to grow from on both sides.

The two Shemar's, Hicks, Scourton, Regis, GBD (if healthy) - gonna be a real problem for teams up front. And if Sylla, White, Johnson, Samu, Howell, Scarlett are legit, then they are going to be a major headache up front on Saturdays.... Not to mention any of the incoming freshmen who could be a surprise come fall. Daelyn Evans isnt even on campus yet....

Of all the games yesterday from P4 type teams, I would be the most concerned if I’m aTm fans. Hard to judge their pass rush when the OL is so poor.

OL is awful. They haven’t prioritized Tackles only interior and now it’s biting them in the ass. Their best Tackle is average and what happens if he gets hurt? No quality starters let alone depth at the endcaps.

Jimbo was building a beast. No one wants to talk about how young we were. Last year's draft shows it...three players all juniors.

A&M looked bad imo. I was looking forward to the game but stopped watching in the 3rd out of frustration.

The crowd was embarrassing. More like the -12th man instead. Shows how much excitement is behind the program right now. A&M is no different than UT in a lot of respects. Elmo not being a big name just shows as per usual they are more concerned with flash than wins. Elmo is a so,I’d coach but it is a weird match if you ask me. They might and I mean might have had 10,000 but looked like 5000 to me. Embarrassing
