I knew this was going to be a barn-burner game as both teams are extremely aggressive. Coach Rupp always said one of the main ingredients to winning a ncaa game was to hit your free throws, if A&M had done this they would have won. Coach Buzz had the right game plan.

Worse defense w 1 second on clock you could play...why in world do you even guard players inside the 3 pt line..put all 5 defenders at the 3 pt line..dont guard the inbounder..he then has to get ball over the defenders at the 3 pt line or make perfect pass to the corners

I wanted Texas A&M to win the game. I turned it off right before the comeback thinking it was game over. Now I'm disappointed to find out they almost won the game but still lost. Dang lol

I picked houston to win this i was so mad when he made it at the time. But boy was thay a crazy good shot we all practiced that at some point

The inbound pass was more ridiculous and impressive than the shot somehow.

Great game ! Houston in control but slowly losing all their scorers and floor leader to fouls. Aggies hanged around tied it at the buzzer, had their opportunities in regulation and OT but couldn't make their foul shots other wise the game would have been theirs. Maybe the best game of the tournament so far.

It doesn’t matter but that was the longest 1 second. I know the clock doesn’t start until the player touches the ball but he had to bend down to get the unsound pass stand up and shoot and the ball was almost to the basket when that 1 second expired. As it turned out it just made the game more exciting. You have two in sate rival teams from years of UH being treated like a step child by Texas and Texas A&M and UH being shunned by Power 5 conferences until this year and there’s no love loss between the two schools so it all added up to a great game. This is one you hate one team had to lose because they both played so hard.
