My family and I were on a holiday at gold coast back in 2014. My uncle rented a car to drive us around. We were driving through pretty late one night at around 9 or 10pm or so, and since I was seated at the front, I was quite unsure about what I saw at around 70 metres in front of me. What appeared to be a very very large man walking past the roads into the woods. And what struck me even more was that I realised that it was winter season when we were there, no way would any human be out in that cold at night walking around. For a moment I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. My aunt from behind voiced out after 5 seconds, "did anyone else see someone walking pass to the other side of the trees??? Immediately my elder brother said yes he did.. And I exclaimed that I did as well too..No way what I saw was ever my eyes playing tricks on me since both my brother and aunt saw it too..Till date, we are puzzled. I will never forget that gigantic being. I would say approximately 3 metres in height.

Great encounter story. Yes I've seen one very close up and he's description is very accurate. To the few people that disliked this video.. I get you find it hard to accept or believe, I'd be quite sceptical if I hadn't seen what I saw and experienced. But everyone is entitled to there opinion. They are out there.. trust me.

Great Video. I live in Central South Carolina near the Congaree NP. USA. we have a Big Hairy Night Walker here some call Boogie Man, Booger, Squatch, Bigfoot ,ect. Good to know about these creatures, just in case you get to see or one crosses the path you are on. I've seen one by itself (I Think) and a group of them that were trying to get back into a tack Barn to eat more horse feed. We were hired by a horse trainer to build barn doors to keep out what ever was eating the sweet feed. Well we found out what was taking the feed Earily one morning just before daylight.. But the weird thing was these creatures would only come up to the edge of the trees and brush. They would Howl and Woop and shake the trees. And these trees were bigger than a man could shake. anyhow we decided to come back the next day during the afternoon and finish installing the barn doors.

I believe you, too! Excellent presentation of your encounter. I've been researching these sightings for 20 years, and live not far from Bauple.

They will always be one step ahead of us. Just pray nobody engages one in hostility because i strongly believe these are societal and reside in our massive labyrinth of caves around the country, primarily the great divide given their eyes are black. They have likely learnt to keep well clear of mankind from previous run ins with aboriginal tribes. Who knows? All i know is that i believe in them, seeing one myself hunched beside a freeway back in 1987. Always thought it was some guy in a snow jacket hoody, but it was in the middle a farkin nowhere, middle of darkness, and the hoodie silhouette was no jacket, just the hairy mans no neck physique. I spent 30 years thinking it was an angel disguised as a hitch hiker, and it robbed me of a decent nights rest for all of that time. Great video here, mate. Looks just like mine!

That was sassy the sasquatch mate. I was waiting to hear him yell how're ya going m8. Waddayatalkinabeet? Wanna try some trippa snippa? Seriously though i truly believe these animals exist in the wilds of Australia. My father in law was a very interesting old man that had seen a lot of stuff in his life and he told me very earnestly that he had seen a very large orange tinged hairy man while he was driving in the middle of nowhere at 4:30 am. Also another friend of mine said he saw a one metre tall hairy creature that looked very human in shape but very hairy running in sugar cane paddocks here in Cairns.

I grew I in Tiaro and hang out at the base of bauple mountain with the Lewis lads on the the Gundiah side of the mountain. Hamish said he has seen it up there and we used to talk about in in the humpy most times stoned :) many reports of cows ripped clean in half in that area .

I didn't have headphones with me on a train when I viewed this as thumbnail & Google's attempt at subtitles found the accent impossible. It was totally hilarious reading them. It was funnier than Coronation street subtitled on YT.

Competent people know what they saw! They can tell the difference between a 10 foot humanoid and a bear! Or in Australians case a kangaroo I guess?

There have been creatures described with this lanky look, so I wouldn't worry about that aspect of the film, which I find very well done. There is one aspect of the film that is clearly wrong where these creatures are concerned. In the close up profile shot, the creature's head is bobbing up and down like a man's would. With the gate that they have, with the knees always flexed, their heads do not "bob" at all! That is the one feature that is almost always commented on in statements like: "It was moving along so smoothly", "I could only see it from the waist up and i looked like it was on a bicycle that was hidden by the bush", etc. Fix that and you will have a nearly perfect recreation of an ambulating Bigfoot, Yowie or Sasquatch; call it what you will.

Great graphics. The Yowie looked pretty good. Could have done with some more muscle from what I've heard. But still pretty damn good.

Very interesting amd very lucky. Such a big creature walking through a clearing. Most of the time people do not get such a good view. Usually its forested and night time when most people encounter these creatures. I live at Cooperabung NSW and have roamed the bush for over 40 years. I have travelled and camped out a lot in the bush but I never have had a sighting...not one. I reckon I have them around the mountains in the bush around my property but they generally are too good at hiding. I see evidence of their being around but seeing they are mainly nocturnal and prefer the rugged bush areas I dont think I will be lucky as you have been.....but you never know. Great work - hope to see a follow up story.

Yup you seen one ,and that is a almost exact same thing that woke me up in the middle of the night pounding on the wall and tapping on the window of a cabin up in PA Pocono mountains ,,,,,,, I suspect that it was living under the cabin that I was staying in,,,,,, I spoke to the owner when I got home and he had no idea but I could see sliding marks like from crawling up under the place ???

I'm on the fence about this. The arms aren't very long and it walks like a human....

its interesting to note that the bones of what archaeologists call Neanderthal have the exact arm to leg ratio found on Patty from the Patterson Gimlin footage filmed in 1967. The arms are consistently within 5% of the length of the legs. Humans regardless of height have a 20% difference meaning human arms are 20% shorter than the length of the legs. Laying height aside applying this fact to sightings, videos and photos of Yowie/Sasquatch/Bigfoot quickly distinguish hoaxes from the real McCoy. Another method is the length of the stride if one should find prints. You can easily fake footprints but not the stride between the foot prints especially in soft dirt or mud.

We too have seen a Yowie near Louth and the darling river NSW while pig hunting we left a freshly shot bore next to a tree we’re we seen it continued up bit further for hour or so when we got back the bore was gone there’s no animal or predator that could of possibly taken that bore away there was no people any we’re around there that would of taken it either this was real no man’s land
