Can’t wait to see WB back in action!! 1 of my favorite fighters to watch he so technically sound his movements are strategic with no wasted movements and he doesn’t rush his shots. It’s just nice solid fluid movement! Prolly the best karate fighter in mma. Only other that is close to him is MVP

I've been practicing that last combo for a few weeks with a slight variation. I do jab/cross to the head, then lead hook to the body to drop the hands, then lead leg head kick(I prefer southpaw for this combo). Finally landed it in sparring and it felt great.

Any tips for getting the right distance going from the lead hook to head kick? I find that i’m to close and have to reset with another cross to get the right distance

Wow im 100% trying that hatchet kick and adding it to my arsenal. I already was playing with a variation of low side kick into what i called the shawn micheals sweet chin music kick up top but that hatchet kick looked even more brutal

Hi Stephen after about 7 months of karate training I've been practising techniques doing bodyweight training and shadowboxing alone for about three months due to no gym or partners and equipment. How good can l get?And also any tips?Btw l also 'borrow' techniques like head movement and punches from boxing videos like Tony Jeffries 😁(commenting from Kenya)

I've been there, going to a gym really helps you put in perspective all of the little things that can't come across in YT videos. That being said you can become pretty damn good with the right mindset

One thing I like to do when shadowboxing by myself is always try to understand where my weakspots are when I strike. Helps you remember to bring your hands back to your head asap and when you're vulnerable during that time frame (while throwing the punch or while retracting it). Same with kicks, stance, and footwork. Good luck!
