I’m reading these comments and feeling some weight being lifted off my shoulders for the first time in a very long time. I have been an ARMY since being 17 and used to watch every interview, music video, every award show and spend hours on Twitter - life then got in the way and I am now 23 and haven’t had the time to dedicate as much love to the boys as I’ve wanted to but my god reading these comments made me feel butterflies and comfort I have felt at 17. Times are hard, I’m struggling and just being reminded that I have a home with BTS and ARMY had helped to make today a little brighter. It's been a year since I ended my 8 years relationship. I was a very social girl with a happy life. But his family rejected me because of my religion. Searched more songs of them and listen. And then got to know the amazing personalities of our 7 boys. Fell in love with their everything. A few months ago I saw how a girl who wasn’t an army yet slowly started to become one and how she looked a bit more happier since then. I haven’t been feeling like myself and felt like I couldn’t breathe because I’m always overwhelmed with so many thoughts like “what if I don’t make it?”, “what if I can’t go to college because of money?”. I was doing so well during my freshman year but when Covid hit I felt trapped in time like everyone else was moving forward and I just standing there. Now I’m a senior in HS and I feel weird like I didn’t get time to enjoy HS like others or anytime to mature or process things because to me it wasn’t long ago when COVID was killing so many people and still is but even if it wasn’t my fault, I felt like trash again I was so disappointed in myself for letting myself go so easily when I promised myself that I would never ever be like that again. But I begin to lose interest in things that I used to enjoy, gained a lot of weight, felt like my depression and anxiety got the best of me, I felt so many fatigue and lost motivation to keep going and at some point I almost lost myself forever because for many nights I cried myself to sleep hoping it was my last breathe. I was and am exhausted my life was never easy to begin with because of the circumstances I lived in I had to forced myself to mature faster than others because there was no other way I could survive. I suffered a lot and still am going through so many hardships but not many know about it because I prefer to keep it to myself to not bother people because sometimes I can’t not physically accept people’s empathy without feeling out of place or weird and there’s sometimes when their words have no effect on me because I don’t feel anything. I never realized how cold I could be until someone dear to me told me about it and I never realized how resilient and wise I was for my age because I thought it was normal and that everyone thought the same but I guess I was wrong. Even though at the moment I feel this constant anxiety I have hope that everything will be okay and that I will be okay. Grades aren’t everything and don’t let your grades determine your worth because even if you don’t feel like it YOU ARE WORTH A MILLION STARS AND DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND BE LOVED! Don’t stack your feelings until you can’t hold them in because that won’t do you no good and will just hurt you even more. Feel those emotions and embrace them and know that you will be ok and you will live. Know that you’re allowed to feel pain because that’s what makes us all human so feel and accept yourself. Never be embarrassed or ashamed to be feel weak or vulnerable. Know that I don’t care who you are or what you are because even if I never met you or know you I still love and care for you. I mean you’re listening to BTS right now we already have something in common lol. Be yourself and never be embarrassed because we’re all unique but know that being different is ok because if we were all the same then life would be boring haha! If you got this far I hope you have an amazing day/night and hope that life treats you better. Stay true to yourself and remember that you are not alone and not in a scary way incase this gives you constant anxiety and make you sleep with your eyes open haha but like emotionally. You know in South Africa Jimin's, RM's, and Jungkook's birthdays are in spring. Hobi's, V's and Jin's birthdays are all summer. Suga's birthday is in the first month of autumn. It is fitting as they all brought warmth into my life in different ways🌞🌼🌻

Since everyone is commenting on their story I might as well too. When I was a child, I only knew death, too many people around me that I loved died. I made it a habit at a young age to never let anyone truly get close to me, that led to me being very antisocial. The only true friend I had was my cousin, who was like a sister to me, she was 2 years older than me, and she always taught me to stand up for myself. When I was 7 my grandma passed away after heart failure due to her heart surgery, that was only the start of my separation anxiety over people leaving me, then 3 years later I stopped hearing from my cousin, this is where the true story begins. I was only 10 when I found BTS, I remember it extremely clearly, I was sitting at my desk in 2014 browsing my youtube when I spotted vibrant Orange hair, I look at the thumbnail and see Taehyung better known as V, it was the MV for Boy in Luv, I remember vaguely that it had come out 6 or 7 hours beforehand if my memory hasn't failed me. I was intrigued as to why this was in my youtube feed as I had never looked anything up that was remotely similar to this video, out of curiosity I clicked the video and fell in love with their music, and the way they presented themselves. As time went on though I started becoming more depressed, I was self-conscious about myself both inside and out. I stopped drawing pictures, I stopped smiling, I stopped eating (mostly) and I stopped being confident in myself and my appearance. By then I was a huge fan of BTS and listened to all their songs new and old, and watched all the videos and bangtan bombs when in 2016, I was struck with terrible news, my cousin who I thought of like my sister and only friend... died, overdosed on pills. I was a wreck, I stopped doing anything that somewhat kept me sane, the only thing I had was BTS as if they could save me from this hell even if it was for a short period of time... then, a year later they released their Love Yourself campaign. All of a sudden, as I watched Namjoon's speeches, I slowly realized what I was doing wasn't healthy, I needed to stop. after 4 long hard months, I managed to get myself put back together, even though I have episodes, and I forget to eat occasionally, I'm fine now... so now whenever I look at BTS, I see my real teachers. The ones who taught me what it means to be human. Finally, I found it. I never imagined to find the piano version of my favorite band BTS. I feel so many memories. In the past, I used to think they are some normal boy band. After reading a lot of the comments, I had the realization that the Army is more than a "classification" or group of people, it's a bunch of compassionate people who will always be for each other and BTS. You guys in the Army are more than just an Army, you convey so much greatness and that's what makes this Army such a great thing to have! We are people of diverstity, culture, music, support for each other, empathy, and most of all BTS. aight imma head out now thx for reading my whole speech. luv all of you guys and wish each and one of you a truly amazing day

How is everyone so kind in these comment section, I met no one this kind in real life. How is it that we all need one person who is kind to us and listen to us in real life, but we don't have one in real life instead we find thousands of them online here like this.
