@tristantran5618 I made my build in the h6 flow a week ago. It was so easy to build in compared to some other cases. I finished my entire build and cable management in like an hour and a half. There is a lot of room in the back, I have an rgb and fan controller in there and they can all be tucked away nicely along with all other PSU cables. Airflow is good too, only like Dimitri said the 140mm in the bottom don't move that much air. There is plenty of room to pass connectors through at the bottom, top and side. Just don't install a watercooler at the top before doing your cpu cables!

Hyte Y60/Y70 cases while great for airflow and aesthetic, have a TERRIBLE "LUXURY" PCIE riser that will fault out, and their customer service is NONEXISTANT!

Really impressive list of cases. You may not fancy every one, but still a great "go to" list to consider. And then they all have been released this year. Which is even more impressive. Colors, textures, materials, design - fresh ideas everywhere. I really hope case companies can make enough money of this wave to keep them coming also in the future.

Great video! Props to Liam Li for keep improving their cases. The 011 vision and 011 EVO RGB are amazing. They started the fish tank and they bring out new cases with more and more improvements. My case of the year is the 011 EVO RGB, runner up NV7

@definingslawek4731 I'm a huge fan of the Formd T1 v2.5 Sandwich layout. The velka range (3, 5 and 7). Dan A4 SFX and H20. But slightly larger ITX cases would be the go to. Fractal Nano, Cooler Master NR200P max and thermaltake tower 100/200 are all excellent options.

@HardwareCanucks I don't own a Dan case, but you put it in the worst case and you didn't say why. You're basically whining that others couldn't get it and so it's in the worst category. You being an influencer probably had something to do with it being sold out so fast. I'm not sure how big that company is, but keeping up with demand would have been a nice thing.

@@HardwareCanucksi have 2 current builds a sliger sm560 and the Dan A4H2O. I saw the C4SFX pop up I'm my country Australia and be it expensive I bit the bullet and grabbed one for a gta 6 future build. Hopefully I'll love it as I do my A4H2O. I think the v2 willl be quite different and flat pack which for me yes higher quality but just as expensive and I'm not too keen on flat pack.

Great video! I think NV5/7 might need a retest because I'm confused about using 2 exhausts and 1 intake. Regardless, NZXT H6 Flow still fits in the GOAT category being one of the best temps along with NV7 and 011 EVO XL. All of these cases mentioned are amazing for their features.

Just finished rebuilding my PC in the Montech King 95 and I'm blown away by the airflow and beauty of this case. My only gripe is Montech did not include replacement (plastic) panel retention clips so now I have to 3D print them myself.

Thank you for a great run-down and recommendations for top cases for 2023. Still looking for a mid-tower computer case with a 5.25" front access drive bay, and a minimum of 1 x USB-C port, preferably with carrying handles. Not sure why not able to find any!

The *Asus AP201* is an amazing case😍 - super easy to build in and keeps everything really cool - using three exhaust fans at the top and it excels at pulling the heat out of the case. 👏

Great overview on cases...Have the H6 Flow (your review helped!) and I have the Phanteks T30's on my corsair 360mm AIO in the top and no issues with intslation in the top with a MSI Z790 motherboard...Great case, simple to build in with stellar airflow. and for once, the price is spot on..

I bought a Red Hyte Y40 for my Christmas present this year. I'm going to eventually recase my current PC into it but I bought it primarily to try some 3D printed design ideas out. We as a family really like Hyte cases. My Wife has the Revolt 3 with a custom paint job and my son's machine is built in the Y60. This Y40 is going to be a lot of fun and I got it on sale at Newegg for $115.

Amazing how in-tune I seem to be with you guys. My two most recent cases are: 1) Back in May I picked up an Asus AP201 (for my main desktop system, which was running too hot in my old beloved Fractal mATX case). 2) Less than a week ago I ordered a Montech AIR 903 so I could resurrect my old Intel 8700 system. From my perspective, you're right on target with the budget picks. Both are great bang for the buck.

@@RomaZhuzha it's the Fractal Define Mini C. While great looking, there's only a narrow pathway for outside air to come in the front cover's side slots (the actual sides of the case are solid), and, with the PSU sectioned off in a compartment covering the entire bottom of the case, there's no way to get any fans positioned for sucking outside air up from the floor and into the GPU. This setup ran great for several years with my old 2080 super and threadripper 1920x, but the 7900xtx just runs WAY too hot. The difference is night and day with the new Asus AP201 case.

@@BaronCAD Nice, makes sense. Mine is Meshify C Mini, however, which has mesh front so temps are not too bad, but I really want to mount my AIO on top instead of the front and give GPU some cold air. Thanks for the swift response! I found also AP201 Tempered Glass and will be deciding now if I should bother with my gutting my current setup or just build a new PC. First world problems!

Dimitry! From HC. Man I first started following you back in 2011 when I built my 3rd PC, I used to read the review articles on the site back then transitioned over to youtube over time. I remember all the craze around RGB before it even became mainstream. Back then we used to buy LED light bars or strips and put them in our cases and used that old fat 4pin connector for them. Then around 5 years later RGB became all the craze, circa 2016-2017 and now we’re living in an RGB insanity world. My younger self would’ve loved it. Good times. Glad to see you’re still the same though, you haven’t aged at all haha

I wholeheartedly agree with your Dan C4 comments. I was totally committed to buying one, but couldn't find one if my life depended upon it. Have yet to decide on another ITX case for my build.

Are all cases for the AIO not fitting touching the board like that? I bought a Fractal case and it does the same thing with a Gigabyte Aorus Master. I have to drop the front fans lower and push the AIO all the way forward to make it fit with the tubes being in the rear. I'm guessing it would apply fort the other way around? I'd probably have to remove the back fan all together, if even that. Not sure if the XL full tower case are the same. I would think they would be a bit taller to make it fit right. 🤷♂

The montech one isn't available in many countries, apparently they don't export that model to any SEA countries but they do send the sky two and king 95 :(

Yeah, I was between it and the NV5. But ultimately the H6 Flow is a better buy that is ready to go and does a lot of things right. The NV5 would be my runner up for sure, if you wanna spend an additional $99 on fans. -D.

When you mean standard size for the rad at the top of the H6 Flow, what exactly is the standard size? Was about to buy it for my Ryujin III 360 but now im worried its too big to fit.

Nice overview of the cases. I like the H6 flow, but how dust free can it be, or do we need to clean those glass cases every month. I bought the Fractal Design 7 compact because all the dust filters, it has so much dust inside :s

I have an all white build with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 ram in the white phanteks nv7 and this case is insane. I make sure to clean my pc every 2 weeks to 1 month at the latest. I am recommending the phanteks nv5 to 4 of my coworkers for their builds this year and next year.

What are your thoughts on the NV7 with the new Lian Li TL LCD fans mounted on the slanted bottom ? In my head it sounds like it might be cool to have your system readouts on fans tilted towards you.. Getting ready to do a new build and was all set on the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO XL but now, I don't know...

This introduced me to some new cases that I think look cool. It also reminded me how much I hate the fish tank aesthetic and how much I wish it would go away. I also found a case that is 90% of the way there for me but falls short. The APNX C1 looks amazing and if they did a vertical mount like how Fractal Define 7, Meshify 2, or Corsair 4000D and above do it I would probably buy it in a heartbeat. But either not being able to do vertical mount or losing access to the rest of the PCIe Slots takes it from that's amazing to that looks nice.

Seems everyone forgets to mention the gpu clearance on the 2000D as well. It was stated on their site to be I believe 20 or 30 mm longer than it was everywhere else. The pictures on places like Newegg or Amazon was listed much shorter than their site listed.

My last build was with an h6 flow rgb 7800X3d, b650, deepcool lt720 360mm aio, 32gb's 6000mhz cl30 ram, nitro 7900xtx, 1000 watt psu. One of my favorite builds lately and temps are really good, and it's cheap. It is my second in command. My first is in a phanteks evolve x 7950x3d, rtx 4090

I agree with you on the NZXT H6 flow as I would never use those fans. It has a smaller footprint for Mid Size $109 is not to bad but $89.00 and no fans would be a good price, front lower I/O for desktop use and good air flow paths. Wish the Top Cover was more open as it is almost always exhaust with Fine mesh filter underneath that can be removed if not needed. Why almost all case manufactures THINK fine holes punched in steel makes a good filter when it is 50% or less open is beyond me.

Thanks for a year of amazing videos. Just so you know, there are people who love your channel that are not like you. For example, when i hear people say the word "thock" in reference to keyboards i think of a whole series of uncomplimentary things about the person not related to keyboards. Some people like cases for performance and some people never make it past in win cases (thanks for the heads up about the phantec case). Anyway. H6 Flow is a perfect way to cool your gpu which generally account for at least twice the amount of heat of your cpu. It is basically a way to blow air directly into the side of the gpu without having a fan on your side panel. Which is good since it often the only part of the gpu that you can actually see the heatsinks. Trying to blow air up from the bottom runs into the problem most gpus that have a shroud over them, so they either blow air onto fans or onto plastic. The lancool 216 and 215 was good at moving the hot air that a gpu puts out, but didn't directly cool the gpus. The next big thing will likely be 140mm fans at a 45 degree angle. Or possibly just a spot for them, since I heard NZXT has had some QA issues where some fans are quiet and some aren't. Slap some cheap but quiet Arctic fans on there and you are golden.

I finally built a new computer this month (Ryzen 9 7900) after 10 years of running a great system (i7-4790k). Boy, do I feel lost with case options. Every case is built around watercooling which isn't even necessary, and none of the cases have good bays for optical drives or 3.5" hard drives. My Nanoxia Deep Silence 2 from 2013 is better than anything I can find now, and back then I got it new for $100. I am really surprised everyone needs multiple water cooling options, at least 6 RGB fans, and a case that sits on their desk, but nobody needs a value-minded case with fairly easy to manage hard drive bays. Still using my Nanoxia for the new build, hats off to that company for making one of the best computer cases ever.

Who uses optical drives and hdd in 2023? hdd can be used in servers/NAS. But heck, there is a new player in town. Its called SSD.

I don't mind some subtle lighting inside the case and some single-color fans up front, but I don't get the attraction of all these aquarium-style tanks...I mean cases. The Montech 903 is probably the best sub-$100 case on the market today. Big, simple, full-featured, easy to build in. I do wish Montech would make a 903 "Stealth" with all four fans, no RGB, a steel panel in place of the glass, and a price of $55.

I’ve been hoping for a case like the Fractal Torrent, with 180mm fans front and bottom, that is not designed for water cooling. With more space for cables and hard drive mounts

I bought the NZXT H6 FLOW and i have lian li sl infinity 120fans, they dont fit on the front panel, you have to force them in and dont attach the cap for the cable thing. And also i cant screw them in cause they are not aligned with the holes. They are so tight in there's no vibration from the fans

Fractal Tera $69? Also, on the Dan C4SFX. I waited for the "US" release via Newegg only to be told that was cancelled after all the stock sold out. Very bad experience waiting on that case.
