Here's the Huawei Mateview GT 34" Gaming monitor from Huawei. It's Huawei's first time into the monitor/gaming space and I think they did a pretty decent job hitting all the key points. I love that they have a built in sound bar, which most monitors don't have. Make sure you're subbed to the channel and get Huawei to send out some gaming gear for your own setup!

How would you compare this monitor with the LG 34GP83A-B / LG34GN850-B considering that the LG has an IPS display. There's only a $50 here in Canada between both which is not a big deal. Which one would you prefer? I need to purchase one ASAP.

I've been using it (Huawei MateView GT 34) for about one week. Yesterday I realized that its adapter getting really hot. It even make the wooden table hot. I use Asus all in one for years with a bigger adapter and there's nothing here something like this. Is it acceptable, normal or is it a sign for something bad? What should I do?

ps5 can't do 1440p, so get a 4k instead if your planning for that

Wow this looks great. I've been looking for an ultrawide monitor for work and some gaming and I've been considering the Xiaomi ultrawide due to budget constraints. The sound bar seems like a good upgrade/difference over the Xiaomi. Honestly if I were to win this, it would be spent primarily on excel spreadsheets and some light gaming like Stardew valley.

The HDMI ports in this monitor are not HDMI 2.1. It shows HDMI 2.0 in the Specifications on the official HUAWEI website.

It looks like a great monitor. I agree that it's odd that it has such good microphones yet no camera, though I feel for a person like me who just buys it for my gaming setup, it's good. I feel if you don't stream, the average gamer won't have a use for a camera on their gaming station. Only becomes a thing if the computer is multipurpose.

I still use a single Asus 1440x900 monitor (14 years and counting, produced in 2004). I would love to own this monitor just so I can have a Premiere Pro timeline fully visible. Maybe Android Studio fully stretched.

So bad that we can't play ultrawide on Series X (and console period) .... For F1 and racing games it would be so nice (Team Lewis here but can't be hooked on new season because of the last race last year ...) I do look for a 27inch IPS 1440p gaming monitor but seems to be kinda hard to find a lot of them are VA but I need to use it for gaming + Video/Photo editing

I guess I would play Apex and FIFA on that nice monitor since they're the only games I play nowadays. The built-in speakers are a nice feature for me because my pair of Bose broke recently.

I can't think of any game I play that can utilize this beautiful display because, well, my laptop sucks and can't run those games. But I would still definitely like to pick this up. LOL
