Modern warfare is becoming ever more technically sophisticated. Modern large-scale weapon systems such as the army's Leopard 2 battle tank, the air force's Tornado fighter-bombers or the navy's destroyers are the showpieces of the German armed forces. But the war in Ukraine in particular shows how important, well-equipped and trained infantry soldiers still are in modern warfare. In this documentary we introduce you to the lethal armament and operational scenarios of the German armored infantry, paratroopers, snipers and the KSK special forces.

Greetings from Russia, Germans always had stylish soldiers. I have visited Germany several times and each time I was so impressed with German nation, these people have a great culture and very accurate. Unfortunately, because of some mad politicians we have fought each other in the past. That must never happen again. I hate what our furer Putler is doing right now. We have to do everything not to happen the brutal war happen again between our nations.

@74Darkman
@74Darkman Π Ρ–ΠΊ Ρ‚ΠΎΠΌΡƒ
I have never fired it and it looks impressive, but i would for certain not call it a lightweight weapon when it weighs in at 4.4-4.7 kg. Imagine the weight of all the accessories you and the video talks about. Carrying a rifle weighing at eg. +5kg is alot. And most often all the attachments are just extra pointless weights. Compare it to an actual "lightweight" 5,56 carbine instead that weighs just above 3kg. It as they describe it a "light support weapon". Sizewise it is fairly close to the old G3 (which i have extensive training with) rifle, which nowadays is in use as eg. a DMR rather than an assault rifle. Personally i wouldn't use a heavy and bulky AR into close combat. The whole purpose with a rifle like that is to keep distance. In CQB you need to be agile. On the plus side is the 7.62 calibre though.

@@Leftyotism No...just no. I have no idea how you even came up with that idea. M16 is a very light weapon. The first M16 (A1) weighed only 2,89 kg, while the A4 version weighs 3.4 kg. The whole idea behind the M16 is just lightweight. It's made of mainly aluminum and plastics (barrel, bolt+carrier is steal). That is about 30% less than the G27.

That were the tribal coalition of the teutons from today region where our Prussia was. North eastern coast of our lands. And the Kimbri(Kimber) roughly from todays SH northern state in germany. They wanted to settle for land in rome or get help to be guided to spain. But the romans first accepted to help them as a Lie and led them into a big ambush that they were not prepared for, so after defeating several armies, later 95% of the kimbri and teutons got killed in a giant battle in northern italy when trying to leave italy. They basically just fled germany in hopes of finding some land to live in and get as Rome always does, fucced by them for no reason. 3 or 4 german tribes and most of modern france was genocided by rome. France was mostly populated by redheaded Celts back then, same for the Alps. We were the only ones standing our ground and the ones who destroyed rome and turned it into ruines to be buried out again just 200 years ago snd turned into a livable city again. The G36 accuracy issue was caused by false ammonition. The G36 needs TNT based and not cheap gun powder based ammo. The TNT ammo explodes with much less heat development, but a "clever" accountand at the German army has ordered the cheapest ammo, as a NATO compatibility list said, that the gun would also work with any 5,56 Γ— 45 mm NATO rounds.

They kind of are, aren't they? Spring power at the end of the pins keeps them in place. In order to remove a pin, you have to overcome that spring pressure fully by (a) pushing the pin on one side and then (b) pulling the pin from the other side -> Unlikely that this could happen by accident. Also, you can increase the thightness of the trigger group by placing tapes on the sides. This way, removing the pins requires A LOT of force. However, if you are talking about cleaning in the field, i fully agree: Captive pins would be nice. However, pretty sure, due to the design of the gun, this is not possible -> The plastic does not leave enough space.
