Yes, I'm German myself and I would say in Germany it's about middle-of-the-road. Germany may be a bit more infected than other non-English-speaking countries because Germany is very English-adjacent: Almost everyone speaks the language and everyone consumes American culture in the form of movies and series. Also, like the lady said about Canada, Germany doesn't have any conservative backbone to fight back from. Religion is very weak and it's difficult to espouse conservative values without sounding like a Nazi.

I live in Australia and have a child in school . This is not the norm in Australia, I haven't seen a transgender on the Gold Coast ever .
