You're right, people tend to overlook movies with former wrestlers as actors, I blame hulk Hogan because everything he was in was terrible

it has nothing to do with it being a wwe movie. It's because it was a straight to dvd movie with poor marketing. And by poor marketing I mean almost nonexistent. Almost nobody outside of the wwe fanbase knows this movie or any other wwe studios movies exist because they only advertise them on wwe shows. The WWE has more than enough money to properly advertise and put their movies in theaters but they choose not to. They don't even run them on the WWE Network which they love to constantly plug. Take a look at Guardians of the Galaxy. It stars a former wrestler and it made almost 800 million. Then we have The Longest Yard which has multiple former wrestlers and it Made 191 million. that's 1 million more than waterboy made which is one of Adam's more popular movies. WWE has the Marine Series, 12 rounds, and a few other series' but they don't let them flourish like they should. The only thing that held WWE Studios back WAS WWE.

If I was in the movie I'd give Jack aka Steve Austin a choice to either play the game or just let him go etc. To me its kinda sad that some of these bad guys gotta try and force you to do a game or something. But eh someone has to.

Some say it's a low budget rip off of battle royale. But I don't care... I enjoyed and others did to and thats the important part.

Also most violent movies get overlooked and badly rated for some reason. I don't understand why.

I don't have a personal favorite the condemned film I think they both did extremely well and were way too underrated.

ThatPixelGuy the condemned didn’t copy Battle royale, battle royale is a genre, you can copy the battle royale genre, but you cannot copy the same characters, exact plot, etc. I only see 1 similarity in both movies: It’s a battle royale genre. By the way i watched them both
