man, ignore these fools - every single one of them held some contrary opinion to something at a different point in time. It's their gutless acceptance of gossip column mentality where anybody that's even slightly famous should be held up to standards they wouldn't accept for themselves. These little minions of the zeitgeist know perfectly well that people change and hold different opinions based on how much sleep they got last night - let alone all the other factors time and life throw at us. You're talking absolute crap because we have adult ratings for games and they are used constantly. Then when Gman got called out for it, proceeded to do that thing where you double down but also go, "I was just doing a bit of trolling, mate. Besides, I only went for the cops."

I remember a gamestop employee trying to dissuade my father and I from purchasing Constantine. His whole reasoning was the fact it was gonna be "a shitty tie in game" I am so glad we said "fuck that" and bought it anyway. We have great memories playing this game. Wish it and the movie got more love

Me too played it with my father, when I was 7. I still have a two-disk physical copy. I did play FEAR, Doom, Painkiller, Wolfenstein then and this game was a good addition to my collection. Now it looks shitty, at least, comparing with AAA projects, but then I hadn't known about them well and enjoyed even mean games, simply as kid. Nostalgia really renders games of childhood heavily, especially in the memories.

I adored this game on Xbox. Shots of Constantine's "blessed" jugs of water stacked in his lonely appartment above the bowling alley continue to cycle throughout the title menu. I used to love the mood of this game. In some ways, this game honored the vision of the film while understanding the lore of the source-comic... Very underrated.

I love how this is one of the few times a youtuber makes a video about a game with a title like "Insert Game Name Here that no one remembers" where it's a game that I actually don't remember or knew exists. Like I was around during the ps2 days when I was younger and had some pretty obscure games that people make retrospectives on nowadays and say it has been lost to time but I always knew what they were lol.

Keanu Reeves' Constantine is still one of my favorite films to this very day in spite of it being very inaccurate to the source material. Also, I've known about this game for so long now... and I'm sad that I never got it to run properly each time I've tried to install it and run it on my PC. Maybe I should just use an emulator instead.

Even after compatibility mode with XP Service Pack 2 under administrative mode? Because I, when using Windows 10, try to play a Vogel RPG from 2004. It freezes after a mouse-click at the wrong spot. After setting the EXE to be run in that mode, I have not seen any issues crop up. It's not always possible and it might require tricking out a virtual machine, but getting Constantine to run seems worthwhile. Don't give up!

I didnt have a pc at the time, so I played a lot of this, the max payne game and the punisher one on this, along with sonic heroes in a nearby cyber cafe that charged per hour. Took me weeks to finish them all. Good memories

Yeah Tilda was a great choice for Gabriel. Non-blonde and non-Brit -ness aside, I thought Keanu was really good in it. Hell I liked Gavin Rossdale in it as well, way more than I'd have guessed. Rachel Weisz is almost always good. All in all it was really well cast with some solid actors.

The more i look back, the more i realize how much the PS2 Era has such a good library. Imagine what talented devs could do with things from that era nowadays? I remember this movie foundly from my early teenage years. Video Games during this era were just awesome as well. I miss that "No F*cks given" type vibe that video games & movies had back then. Especially compared to nowadays. I hope we can get that back. We need to get people on Twitter to chill out & realize games are games! We can make them as crazy & creative as we want. Same with movies/TV shows. The world is a better place thet way.

Couple things: you can actually see the knuckle dusters on his hands if you angle the camera right on his melee attacks. Next, True Sight not only lets you see the Crucifier nails on the ground ao you dont miss any but it also tracks the Bastados next teleport so you can get a bead on him and not get so overwhelmed. Good on you for finding out the Dragons Breath is great against the bosses with weak spots, just know it mauls the Vermin Demon when he breaks apart and it also absolutely bodies Gabriel at the end, making that fight a breeze

Tbh, I played the hell out of this game back on the PS2. I always thought it was pretty damn cool how they added new stuff into the game that wasn’t in the movie, like Constantine shifting into Hell to bypass boundaries in the Earth and using the Spell Tomes.

I remember seeing this game back in the day in a bargain bin and passing it up because even then i knew movie based games were not to be trusted, but this review made me wish id given it a chance. I love your editing and witty banter, btw. Your content is like comfort food for game nerds. Lol

I remember it damn it! I don't think I ever beat it but I do remember being pleasantly surprised with how entertaining I was finding a lot of it. I always loved this movie's depiction of hell so it was fun to be able to play around in that area

Man, I played this one as a kid on the ps2. I still have in my memory how I panicked when the first big charger enemy appears on the hospital, I didn't notice that you could kill it from the back so I spent a lot of time there casting exorcism lol y trying to kill it

Say what you want about the movie but holy shit it had the best representation of Satan I've ever seen. The suit, the mannerisms, Peter's acting, it was just superb. Highlight of the movie for sure.

Ah......I remember playing PC version of this game rigorously back in my young age. I remember the keybinding for magic casting are very bad, I've discover that I can actually casting magic near the end of the game. Where most the time, I spent time blasting the "holy guns" through and through.

I remember seeing the demo on a videogame store and being absolutely blown away at how well it recreated the same goddamn scene from the movie (the exorcise with the big mirror). Several years later I modded my Xbox 360 and tried the game, and found it to be quite a decent one. The ambience was superb.

Thanks for reminding me that I rented this from Blockbuster or Hollywood Movies when I was 14. Also have a memory of finding The Matrix for PS2 at Blockbuster, screaming in excitement because it was actually available, and hearing another kid say "Well I guess somebody found what they wanted" from the next isle. I could spend hours fighting the agent in hand to hand combat, knowing he's unbeatable but still having fun because of how hard you could end up hitting him.

I remember this game! In fact, I knew about it before I knew about the movie. I was visiting my cousin one time and he just... had it on his PC. Of course we, not speaking English at all at the time, didn't get far, from what I remember. But that moment at the parking lot with cars going crazy, or that old lady getting bodied by the demon... I'll never forget that.

I always loved how the Constatine movie/game depicted Heaven and Hell. In most other media, they are depicted as separate dimensions. But here, Heaven and Hell are actually on opposite ends of a spectrum and the "real world" is somewhere in the middle. Heaven/Hell just look like a much better/worse version or the real world. And exorcists like John Constantine are basically living radios who "tune" themselves towards one end or another in order to interact with otherworldly creatures like angels and demons.

I loved this game. I didn't read the Constantine comics so not only was the Keanu Reeves casting not a problem for me, it was fucking amazing. I will say, this looks way different than I remember
